Step-Dad's Health Deteriorating and Lack of Clarity and Communication from GP / Hospital

Ross procedure - left shoulder pain and sore neck muscles
Hi all, I had the Ross procedure on 8th June 2022 (my 3rd valve replacement surgery). Due to the complexity of the op, it took approx. 10 hours to complete. Naturally my neck muscles.. all of them and so fricken tight! And my left shoulder often feels very achey 😣 Does anyone think when I’m well

I have a kin interest in learning from anecdotal experiences.
Hi everyone, I read with interest many of the posts about AF that are similar to my issues and that is seems food is a trigger but mort interestingly I think chemicals in the food. I stopped all alcohol that didn’t seem to help. I eat organic and non GMO exclusively but when I eat at certain restaurants

Ectopics
Good evening. I have recently been given the option to begin Flecainide for my ectopic heartbeats or learn to live with them (I find this very difficult). I've had open heart surgery but although successful, it didn't stop the ectopics at all. I've been on bisoprolol which I don't feel has helped

Update
I diagnosed with Flutter end of June 22 after a couple of trips to A&E. prescribed Edoxaban 30mg with Bisosporol 2.5 daily reduced to 1.25 mg daily as I already have low BP. Episodes of possible Flutter are happening at least once a week. I do have etopics apparently and one ECG showed narrow tachycardia

Pace and Ablate - Symptoms of Heart Failure after pacemaker and AV node ablation
My pacemaker was inserted three weeks ago for symptomatic persistent a-fib that no longer responds to meds, cardioversion, or ablation. My family has just had a very impactful experience, my son who is 22, had open heart surgery twice in the same month and we nearly lost him the second time around. He was in the hospital for 9 weeks all in total, but within that 9 weeks what he went through and what he saw day in day out, was patients

Spoken to GP at length this morning regarding this awful fatigue I am suffering from, and how awful I’ve felt since starting Amlodipine. He agreed reluctantly that as I’ve been slightly better since stopping Amlodipine a week ago he would remove it from my prescription, but has increased Cozar (Losartan

A quieter week this week!
My husband's very first attempt at baking and it was delicious! I Pottered about flower arranging, and a goodly haul of conkers. Meds still helping cough and breathlessness but stink of deep heat cuz have a very bad pain just above my pelvis on the left side. Yoga in half an hour so some deep stretches

I was called in to a room in ward 2c where I donned a rather fetching but rather revealing gown and filled out all the required forms. The staff were warm and welcoming and very reassuring. Does anyone else suffer with extreme tiredness even after sleeping well all night? I have felt tired all the time recently . I am 71 years old and have been in permanent AF for some years and chose not to go down the ablation route. I have been putting it down to the heat but not sure it is. I take

General Anaesthetics for Pulmonary-Hypertension patients
Hi there. I'm new to this community. I've just been referred to a Pulmonary-Hypertension consultant by my Cardiologist as my latest Echocardiogram says I have "intermediate probability of pulmonary hypertension", along with "moderate mitral valve regurgitation". My question relates to General Anaesthetics
