Post Operative Aortic Valve replacement, single CABG. 2019. Week ago, TIA admission to A&E and ward for 24 hours. Support needed please?
Post Operative Aortic Valve and single CABG July 2019 . On July 28th 2021 I had TIA, out of the blue. Paramedics called, taken to A&E, all investigations carried out, then up to the stroke ward for 24 hours. Home but feeling really shocked, and anxious. Live on my own. Is there a support group for this

Mitral regurgitation
So I had a a echo and was told my heart was structurally normal with good LV output and told to go home and not worry about anything. I was admitted to hospital as I had a afib attack which I've never had before it only lasted 1 hour . Doc says it was because I was unwell with covid... Anyway I look

Is it possible to take a biopsy of a cardiac artery plaque in order to determine exactly what it contains?
Hi All I was found to have, via CT Angiogram, in July 16, a very high Calcium Agatston score of 1315. I then had CABG in Feb 17 at age 66. The day before I asked if it was possible to do a biopsy of a plaque, to help in identifying what they contained. They said it was not possible. Is this correct?

Woman had no clue she was having a heart attack until Apple Watch sent her to hospital - Diane Feenstra from Michigan
Future is here ! Heart failure is something which no can predict. It comes all of a sudden and takes away the life. Diane Feenstra from Michigan was lucky in this regard. She was alerted about abnormally high heart rate by her Apple Watch and she went to a hospital for a check up and it was a mild

Asthma
I've had cabg heart op after heart attack back 21 years ago. Always since then I've had pain in left side of chest under ribs at bottom. I blamed it on the heart op. I've recently had lung function tests at hospital and apparently I have chronic childhood asthma! Is that causing all the pain and tight

I have been being treated for Af for 10 years now. Had surgery and never came out of AF. I had an echo in November after heart surgery resulting in Cardio tamponade and the clinician said I had Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy but i have never been treated for this by cardiologist. Can they be treating me

Week 9 Run 3 - Hey! Ho! Let's Go
Sunday 4th July 2021 When I left this morning the sun was shining and my lungs were saying I am ready to run. Once I reached my halfway point on the bridge the rain started to lash down. I had a decision to make stop and walk back and try Tuesday as no hurry to continue. As soon as I starting running

Awaiting open heart surgery for mitral valve repair/ replacement
Hi I am awaiting the above op (consultant has said 3 month wait) but have had no face to face appointments due to covid. I have so many questions about this procedure but the main one is about the recovery period? I’m a busy primary school teacher and want to know if I’m being foolish to think I will
