Gut and hands!
I would say these are my two major symptoms. I started suffering from acute indigestion in late summer 2018 and the GP prescribed Omeprazole. Only a few weeks later my hands and lower arms became swollen, red and painful. As luck would have it the same GP who happened to have a special interest in

Inflammation test - CRP
My GP ordered a CRP (C-reactive Protein) test for diagnosing a potential health issue. The results were very good - .7, where normal range: 0.0 - 10.0 mg/L. This indicated my systemic inflammation level is quite low. Yay! Very low sugar, no alcohol diet. However, the night of the day that I had the

Hi All, my first post.
I`m 75, retired, had RLS for years, just lived with it in the past. Its now come back with a vengeance in the last six months. I think its worth mentioning the following. During December last year I fell seriously ill, taken to intensive critical care, with aggressive Pneumonia, Sepsis, even Covid

Thorne Basic B, Biotin, Folate and Blood Testing ?
I was just wondering about something…I shall need to make my blood test appointment soon after a dose change so of course need to stop taking anything biotin. Along with Biotin Thorne Basic B also contains Folate, so how much difference do you think stopping TBB for a week will make to the blood test

Hello all, This is our 6th transfer (fresh this time!). It almost didn't happen as my progesterone blood test was borderline (high end) on egg collection day and the doctor advised against a fresh transfer (freeze all protocol and FET in Jan). However I pushed for a fresh transfer and it was finally

Have found out some info about my medical history
So put in a SAR to see if I could find out anything about my past treatment. My Gp records have Lobectomy listed in my records but surgeon told me he had to remove everything and couldn't save any tissue. This was January 1995. Have got back some records from that time, still sifting through but

Took daughter for some blood tests this morning and had a discussion with phlebotomist, B12, auto immune stuff, etc. I have told her about HealthUnlocked and asked her to look it up as there are lots of forums. What saddened me most is how anxious she was about B12. I mentioned PA and she said she

hi all, I’ve just recently received my latest blood test results which came back with elevated basophils of 0.13. I’m PV, Jak2, low risk, 42yrs old and havent usually seen basophil counts on my report, so can’t trend back to see if this is a new thing or historical… I know PV can drive higher

Took the advice on here and increased my pred by 5mg to combat pmr flare. On day 9 I had a blood test and the esr was 6. I have now dropped to 8mg and will see how it goes for a month, if all goes well I will follow the 5 week reduction plan. Should I go to 7 or 7.5?Thanks for all your help and advice

Hi, everybody I had breathing problems last year. Went to my doctor & had a blood test that night I got a call to go straight to local hospital. Was there for14 hours but excellent service. Found build up of liquid in lungs & my ankles & lower legs were bigger. I had been cutting my socks as I thought
