Magnetic bracelets
Hi all, I was diagnosed 4 years ago now, still on w&w + 3 weekly IVIG transfusions, & nave been suffering for years with arthritis in my right thumb (I am right handed, which makes this a pain). A friend tells me his arthritic pain has much reduced after using a magnetic bracelet. I am keen to try, but

Necrotising myopathy/myositis
I have been diagnosed with NM/Myositis and have over the course of a couple of months become totally dependent 24/7 and am in a wheelchair. I start IVIG treatment on 19/06. Can anyone offer advice on this illness/treatment? I am finding it difficult to cope emotionally as well as physically now.

Hello I am brand new to the group, and sure am glad to have found you!
It is looking like I may be a non-responder to Ocaliva, so diet, rest, and excursive might be my best chance at
living
as
healthy
as I can as long as I can. Oh and I forgot to mention that steroids are not an option for me due to rapid loss of bone.

Vasectomy
Hi there I'm due to have a vasectomy next week and have been advised to wear cotton underwear, does anyone have any advice, weather they should be tight or loose fitting? Tia.

I've hit a blank wall
What I resent is the way people assume I need to be schooled in a
healthy
diet. It takes me all my time to keep
living
and help with the household chores, which exhausts me. However I have gained stones since my stroke because I am not so active.

Feeling chuffed...
Yesterday I decided to try preparing meals in advance for lunch so I didn't overeat or end up eating something unhealthy to avoid wasting too much time making something. I got these nice tupperware boxes and then made an 'Italian' salad (I improvised)... So there's 50g of brown pasta, parma ham, red

Clean
living
(
healthy
diet and exercise) will decrease inflammation of the nervous system, which should stave off anxiety--this came straight from my therapist today. 6. Exercise. A daily walk that turned into running got rid of my anxiety for over a year.

Am I doing this right? Thought I would be hungrier and missing out on food.
Not a specific problem, just wondering aloud. When I decided to get healthier I thought I would be hungrier, I thought it would be tougher. I promised I would write down everything that passed my lips, and I've been pretty damn good at keeping that promise. If I can't find an exact match for calories

Ibrutinib and Medicare
I'm from NJ and have relapsed SLL - unmutated - as far as I know I don't have any the mutations that make the disease really high risk. My doctor wants to put me in Ibrutinib because my last PET Scan should the lymph nodes neck, axilla, abdomen and pelvis are getting bulky and some new nodes are appearing

I am 16 and I think I have Phimosis and idk what to do
I am worried about this, there is a small piece of flesh connecting my foreskin to the tip of my penis and I cannot pull the foreskin back When I masturbate it isnt sore or anything and I have never had any pain down there. Any advice? I've never had any issues with this before and it has me worried.

The Art of Cherry Picking a Plate chapter II
Ah, lunch, the midway meal, filling the hole from breakfast and charging you up for the day ahead. Here's what I get: The salad, this gets eaten every day, all pretty fresh, green leaves carrots, cucumber. No dressing, just a squeeze of lemon. There's always some form of beans or pulses in there too.

Swelling after Circumcision
It's been 3 days since my circumcision and so far so good. I have however noticed the swelling. I have noticed that the swelling I had before has gone down slightly, but there are places where i haven't noticed a difference. The skin in general is still quite swollen, especially where the frenelum used
