Ribs and pain
Hi Everyone, Sorry not been on for a while just feel isolated. Just won I’ve had severe pain under my ribs for months. Doctor scared me said it might be lung cancer. Chest X-ray came back clear so did bloods. Does anyone else have these pains. Hope everyone is coping with this nightmare called fibromyalgia

COPD
Hi peeps I was reading a post about someone being told by their GPs receptionist that they have copd. This happened to me last week and I was totally shocked. I had rung for results of a chest X-RAY that I had been sent for as I have Flu and I’m asthmatic and she simply read the results out as background

Introduction
Hi everyone, I’m Deb from Australia. I’m here because we really don’t have any frequented forums in OZ, and I find FB pages a bit random and depressing. So, I’m 61yo, and until recently I worked for Bunnings in OZ. A job I loved, but pounding around on concrete, wearing steel caps, and putting stock

Clicking in my throat that sounds like popping candy with a slight wheeze. Does anyone have the same?
Hi there I'm new to the site and wondered if anybody on here has had the same symptoms as me? For the last few months I've noticed a wheeze with a crackling/popping sound in my throat. More so at night as it seems really loud and wakes me up. I've seen a doctor who thinks because I have acid reflux and

Hospital Blues
I came into hospital on Wednesday to have my chylothorax drained on the right side of my chest. They have drained off about 1.1 litre and I have had to be on a low fat diet whilst I am in to try and help dry it out. It’s not a very inspiring menu choice. Only 4 items and I have all of them now. Just

Chest infection recovery
Hi. I'm 16 years old and for around 5 weeks I have had a tight chest and breathing difficulties, so bad that we once called the ambulance however, I was re assured I wasn't having a heart attack so we decided that I should ride it out. I have visited the doctors many times, because it hadn't improved

Hi there I have been reading on this site for about 3/4 weeks now and have learned a great deal in the meantime. “Fitness for Surgery” OR Pre-Op
Various soothsayers have been telling me that if your surgery does not occur within a couple of months of your “Fitness for Surgery” you have to go through it all again. Different tests stay in date for different periods. Typically, an angiogram in valid for 12 months, an echocardiogram for six months

Hello from someone new to all this PMRGCA stuff
Hello. I have ust been diagnosed with GCA three days ago on 21 Feb 2018. I'm 58 and male. Usually in good health. My apologies if this is a bit long and nerdy: I'm just finding it useful to write all down somewhere. My symptoms started on Christmas Day with very sensitive scalp and shooting pains
