Temgesic/Buprenorphine
Jelbea and Shumbah have both posted recently about Temgesic versus Buprenorphine and the different half life of these 2 medicines. Both have Buprenorphine hydrochloride as the active ingredient BUT Temgesic has a much shorter half life. This means it will have to be taken every 6 to 8 hours throughout

ALP and when to add 2nd line therapy
I was diagnosed Feb. 2022 ALP was 307. Started URSO right away. ALP went down quickly - In July 2022 it was 107 but October 2022 was 119 and April 2023 was 120. So my specialist wanted to add ocaliva. I convinced him to give it another 6 months before adding anything and he agreed. So I am praying

My nails are really deteriorating, soft, bendy, peeling. They’ve been poor for ages but this is much worse. Nothing topical is helping. I’m on 75 mcgs levothyroxine and my TSH levels are good - and on 0.01 % estriol cream for dryness. Could it be that which is making the difference, although I was

androgen receptor inhibitor for nmCRPC
So if you become castration resistant. Your PCa will grow without androgen. Your MO will recommend an androgen receptor inhibitor. Why bother inhibiting PCa androgen receptors if it can survive without androgen?? Confused.

As most of you can relate to, I have given up so much in my life due to RLS. Every possible RLS trigger is in fact a trigger for me. Why the Hesitancy in Recommending Combination T3/T4 Therapy?
Found this recent interview with Antonio Bianco MD PhD from 25 May 2023 https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/989985?ecd=wnl_edit_tpal&uac=308298BV&impID=5466843&faf=1#vp_1 Disappointed that he still regards a "normal" TSH as the overriding consideration before all others...

Temgesic/Buprenorphine
Hello everyone - especially those of you on Temgesic or buprenorphine in sublingual form. Shumbah posted recently about the short half life of Temgesic as opposed to plain buprenorphine hydrochloride. At that time I did not respond as I was back on oxycodone as per suggestion of my neurologist. However

Hi everyone, I do not have CLL but I do have the itchy, pins and needles prickly feeling on my upper arms at night when I cover up. Once it starts it's relentless. I spoke to my Dermatologist about it and she said it sounded like a nerve problem. She prescribed me Fluocinonide cream 0.05 percent. I rub

Has anyone used Alpha Logic Acid, or L Tyrosine to treat RLS/PLMD.
I just recently started using both Alpha Lopic Acid, as well as L Tyrosine Twice daily. So fare I can’t seen to tell if there working? But, at the same time I’m going through a very serious detox Protocol after being prescribed Kolonpine by two separate sleep doctors. I was on the Benzodiazepines for

Weird ADT Side Effects
I have some of the predicted SE’s of ADT: loss of libido & loss of body hair. My testicles are more like two little peas in a pod now. ED meds are helping in that department. Hair loss has all been below the neck. My sister used to tell me I could win the “harriest legs contest”! Not anymore!

Advice about hair loss please
Hi, so diagnosed with sub hypo 2 months ago with very raised antibodies. I've been on 50mg levo which was raised due to symptoms after a few weeks so now on 75mg. But while I have seen an improvement in other symptoms my hair is shedding even more. Can anyone advise how long does it take to calm down
