What happens IF you break a venetoclax tablet before you swallow it?
Good morning, I am on Venetoclax and have been for 4+months. No pesky side effects but my platelet count has fluctuated from the mid 40's to the 80's. My doctor originally reduced my dosage from 400 mg to 300mg. My last CBC which was taken 2 weeks after my 5th Gazyva (next to last Gazyva infusion,

Injecting into thigh
Hi all I usually inject into my stomach but have read a few posts here about benefits of injecting into side of thigh. I tried this after watching a YouTube video a while back but felt no benefit and wondered if there are videos here which I can watch. I'm starting to wonder if injections into my stomach

Results back and doctor’s confusing comments: help please
Just received my latest blood test results. Have followed advice regarding Vit B supplements (Igennus Super B, 1tab per day) and stopped these 10 days before blood test. Have continued with Vit D/K2 oral spray + 250 mg mag citrate most days. Feel pretty good, though faeces unusually dry for last 8 months

Please also advise regarding iron, ferritin and serum transferrin. I would like to raise my transferrin levels without raising the ferritin any further. Please search my other posts for the first set of blood tests. Posted under liver kidneys iron and hair loss. Thanks

Hydration and Haemoglobin / Haemotocrit Levels
Does anyone know how much hydration can affect haemoglobin and haemoticrit levels? Ever since the prospect of PV was raised I have been sure to be very well hydrated before my blood tests. (I have them mid afternoon generally and ensure i have drunk 2l of water before hand). I realise that in the past

Please help me understand my results - will this TSH level affect my fertility?
Hello all. I have been on Thyreogland - an NDT comprised of 100mcg t4 and 25mcg t3, for the last 2 years. Recently, the dosage I normally take was not in stock! So I have been taking 125mcg t4 and respectively more t3 (I don't know the exact amount), I realise this was a bit stupid given that I felt

Severely weak. Can I try heme iron peptides?
Could my trembling/vibrations/debility be caused by iron deficiency as ferritin was 17 (saturation n iron stores also on lower side). I also feel cold. After taking iron, I feel almost normal for sometime n the trembling lessens too, then again feel weak by evening. if I don't take the iron in evening

RLS and Gastric Issues
Hello to fellow RLS sufferers, I’ve struggled with RLS for years now and have sought the advice from this group from time to time and with appreciation. I now have a gastric issue , probably an ulcer but certainly gastritis at this point. I certainly don’t want to aggravate my RLS ... it’s always on

Broad complex tachycardia
Has anyone experienced broad complex tachycardia on a 24 holter ? Should I be worried? GP has requested an echo! I had two episodes that lasted less than 3 seconds and no symptoms other than felt them. GP said my HR went to 146bpm. The rest was normal sinus rhythm. Feeling a bit stressed with it all

Teva levothyroxine
Hi, i think I'm experiencing a reaction to levothyroxine. 4 weeks ago I was feeling fine on 50mcg (Accord) Northstar, I had my routine yearly blood test which showed TSH 9.8 so GP increased me to 75mcg with an additional 25mcg tablet, from Northstar but inside is from TEVA. 3 weeks in taking them and

How do I interpret my Iron test results?
I just want to go back to basics and figure out for myself what the results of my blood tests mean? Can my good friends help? It's all Greek to me. Here we go: Serum iron level: 13 umol/L [5.0 - 33.0] . Serum transferrin level: 2.61 g/L [1.9 - 3.75]. Serum TIBC 59 umol/L [36.0 - 77.0]. Saturation

WHO authorizes AstraZeneca's COVID vaccine for emergency use.
The World Health Organization has granted an emergency authorization to AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine, a move that should allow the U.N. agency's partners to ship millions of doses to countries as part of a U.N.-backed program to tame the pandemic. Liver kidneys, iron ferritin serum transferrin and hair loss
Can anyone help me understand my blood tests. A private dermatologist recently took some bloods after prescribing finasteride. I took the drug four months and discontinued as it shrunk my hair follicles. My scalp now looks dramatically worse, thanks to this drug. It didn't increase hair loss but didn't

Best B12IM for self injection?
I’m relatively new here although I recognise that I had non-dietary B12 deficiency symptoms for years. Finally had pathology confirm IF and parietal cell ABs. Had loading dose series of B12 IM injections which were fantastic. Have been taking sublingual B12 between extended shots now, but think I’ll

High blood levels of B12
Hi everyone, Not new here but just a little background - I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency back in 2014, I managed to produce enough evidence to satisfy my GP that I could not manage on 2 - 3 monthly injections and so I am able (currently) to access enough B12 for my needs, but this could soon change

Does B12 deficiency deplete iron levels?
Hi everyone ! I’m a bit stumped regarding my newest iron panel results (below). First of all, I’ve been supplementing with 60 mg every other day and having an iron rich diet with vitamin C. Even so, my levels have been dropping quite dramatically: 09/29/2020 Total Iron 92 ug/dL (50-212) Iron Binding
