Iron/bloods... confused!
My
haemoglobin
is now 135 (range 120-150) so bang on. I spoke to a GP yesterday and am none the wiser really.

More advice needed.
Ive just had a text message saying i dont have b12 deficiency anaemia as my
haemoglobin
and mcv levels are normal, and the guidlines i quoted pre date covid, and they have been told tratment has to be oral cyanocobalamin.

Can someone explain my thyroid profile and current symptoms?
I suffer from constipation, substantial weight loss despite healthy eating, aching joints, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, low
haemoglobin
(11.2) and very low white cell count (neutrophils). High lymphocytes, high monocytes, high eosinophils.

New to Pernicious Anaemia - what basic steps to take first?
Hi folks - GP sent on bloods today - low B12, low ferritin, high cholesterol, low
haemoglobin
and hematocrit (as well as sky high prolactin - another story!) So... I'm guessing that pretty much pernicious anaemia, right? Anything I should look into while I nudge the GP into action?

What levels are safe to travel overseas?
We understand that
haemoglobin
needs to be above 90 in order to be insured, does anyone know anything further or have experience of this? Thanks in advance

Sublingual B12?
I think I should also be taking a folate supplement, as my levels at 3.8 are maybe a little low, and even iron tablets (my
haemoglobin
is OK, but my serum ferritin seems rather borderline at 17).

Still breathless
My
haemoglobin
is 99 which is not excessively low, I have had a chest X ray, ECG, CT of thorax, abdomen and pelvis and blood test to check iron and B12 levels. As far as the oncologist is concerned there is nothing too concerning.

RA and COVID vaccination
He has mild anaemia with
haemoglobin
of 108. His platelets are raised. He doesn’t have any other chronic conditions and is otherwise healthy. He is 70 yo. The question: is it safe for him to have a covid vaccine? Are there any particular considerations in terms of vaccination for RA patients?

Correlation between iron deficiency anaemia and thyroid cancer?
The Clopidigrel was stopped and for 12 months
haemoglobin
and associated levels remained in normal range. In May this year, I became breathless and tired and a blood test showed an Hb level of 64. After 3 blood transfusions and 2 of iron, I have been well since May.

Diagnosis of results?
Haemoglobin
of 155 g/L with a satisfactory PCV of 0.448. White count of 5.61 x 10 power of 9 /L with a normal differential and platelets of 493 x 10 power of 9/L. When I see him next I want him to explain. This is a copy of letter to doctor. I hope these results are acceptable.

Please help me get to the bottom of my brain fog!!
No idea what the limits are as >5.40 is all it says Ferritin - 42 normal range 10 - 291
Haemoglobin
estimate 139 normal range 115 - 165 I have just realised today that while my iron is still climbing, my folate has again fell, from 3.4 it went to 20.7 and now it’s fell down to 9.8.
