eating gluten prior to biopsy
I have been following a
gluten
free
diet
for a couple of years now and feel much better. However, gastro referral has finally come through and consultant has advised I do in fact need the biopsy.

Gluten ataxia.
For many there is still no medication and only if you don't respond to a
gluten
free
diet
are you offered anything.A
gluten
free
diet
and a healthy eating approach along with regular exercise helps. I also take lots of high dose supplements.

Struggling again
I can see I have a conversion problem and am on a
gluten
free
diet
. Test done at 8.50 fasting . Does anyone think that to help in the short term before I go away I could increase from my 100mcg current dose in an effort to boost T3 ? I felt much better when I got it up over 5 .

I notice that a strictly
gluten
free
diet
is often recommended on this forum. What is the reason, and does it apply to both hyper and hypothyroidism?

IBS Diarrhoea
I am now on a
gluten
free
diet
as I did a York test and it showed I was allergic to wheat and some meats.. At the moment I eat gluten free cornflakes with oat milk or rice milk and a banana. For lunch I have gluten free rice cakes with some canned tuna in brine.

A

has not helped me and also cut out lactose 6 months after initial diagnosis as was still having such bad stomach symptoms- I’ve had to give up my dental nursing job which I loved 2 years ago as had urgency issues and blood present .

I was doing

T3 affects of different manufacturers
I’ve always had higher results than this without symptoms of being over medicated: T3 6 (range 3.1 - 6.8) TSH 0.44 (range 0.27 - 4.2) All other supplements are the same and I have followed a

Private Blood Test Results
This no doubt has also been helped by a largely
gluten
free
diet
and taking vitamin supplements as per advice. My TSH became suppressed following new combined therapy but neither endo or my GP at that time, were concerned and monitored for any other signs via T3 and T4.

Gluten free diet
Hi just wondering if anyone has tried a
gluten
free
diet
to reduce inflammation? I’m off steroids now so would like at least a change from low carbs . Just interested in other opinions

9 years PMR and counting!
The subsequent mucus in the lungs rapidly cleared when I adopted a
gluten
free
diet
and minimal wheat (which always did bind me up!).
