Week 9 #2 done
I'm so nearly there. I really did not think I would get this far when I first set out. I thought either laziness or injury would stop me but here I am comfortably running 5k in 30 minutes and with only 1 run remaining. I am truly shocked! Hopefully Tuesday morning will see me complete C25k and from

Sod's Law. Due for colonoscopy this morning, so spent the last 3 days on a white diet, no alcohol, yesterday went through the Moviprep routine to empty bowels, spent all evening on and off toilet, most unpleasant. Got up at 2am this morning for toilet, and guess what, of course, AF suddenly kicked in

October Challenge - Walk after Eating
And here is our new October challenge to try out on our walks! ★★★
Walk after a meal!
★★★ Well, I had chosen this subject matter before I pulled my left calf muscle, so I can only walk with everyone in spirit but also reminisce about the many after-dinner walks my family have had over the year

Hi I’m diabetic type 2 . I was put on a high dose of steroids in the spring , due to suspected GCA after being diagnosed with pmr . I was on the steroids for about 4 months . Rheumatologist tapered me off . Pain returned in neck , shoulders , arms, hips & upper legs. And as time has gone on the pain

Another new friend 🙂😸
A different walk, same road and different Cat 😸I am getting back to my regular walking again now following my recent back issue ! It's not back to normal yet but probably around 80% improvement. Not back at the gym yet but we will see what Wednesday brings . For now I'm happy to be getting out and about

. So having that on Friday. He didn’t think Hydroxy was causing odour( it’s not sweet which I gather it would be if diabetes was the cause….

Do try this at home! Reversing metabolic syndrome, silver bullets?
hi folks, over the last year I’ve positively moved a number of my metabolic metrics that have a big impact on cardio and general health and wanted to share. BMI down from 26 to 24. Blood Pressure meds reduced by 30% fasting blood glucose down from 6.2 to 5.2 I am no expert, I can only say the three

How does restless sleep affect morning blood sugar?
Hi - I notice that in the nights I have problematic sleep - up many times despite good methadone treatment - my blood glucose if over 100, but then is normal after meals during the day. Do any of you have trouble controlling blood sugar after a bad night of struggling to get some zzzzs?

I'm just back in sinus after a 48 hour paroxysmal AF episode (trigger unidentified). Curious about BP readings. This morning, back to normal, it's 126/66 with PR 47 , no irregular heart beat indicator. Yesterday morning it was 89/50 with PR 50 and showing IRH. Am I right in thinking BP readings in

Late onset type 1 diabetes?
Husband diagnosed with cirrhosis a couple of months ago, fibroscan reading confirmed this but no varices and no ascites. Waiting to hear back further from gastroenterologist on this. In the meantime, the metformin he had been prescribed for T2 diabetes didn't seem to be working, still had all the symptoms
