Graves, colds and sinusitis
Hi folks. I’m just wondering if anyone else has found it’s taken your body a lot longer to recover with colds and sinusitis while having graves, as well as being impacted more severely symptomatically? I got a cold that lasted three weeks, then was okay for two days before getting sinusitis that’s now

Blood in urine
I was diagnosed with PCa in 2004, having an LRP in 2010. That failed, so we have been controlling it with ADT (lately Zytiga). I have developed a wayward metastasis in my pelvis, which was treated with radiation last January. Last night I passed a large blood clot in my urine. Has anybody any thoughts

Hi everyone I have my transfer of our only frozen embryo next week. I’m taking the medication to prepare currently. Problem is I have the flu. Full of cold, sneezing, coughing lots of mucous etc… feel awful! Hopefully doesn’t turn into an ear or chest infection 😷😩 Will this effect negatively? What

Feeling so cold !!!!
Hi all - My lupus seems to have taken a new turn. I've had intermittent raynauds since I was first diagnosed a few years ago, but recently I am experiencing really pronounced problems with temperature regulation to such a degree that I dread climbing out of bed in the morning - so coooold and often

Supplements while taking Accutane?
Hi I'm looking to get some advice I'm starting Accutane for my skin and I was wondering if anyone has taken it? I'm trying to research what supplements to take while on it (side affects can include higher cholesterol, inflamed liver) and I can't find much. If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate

Baby it’s cold outside
At the risk of sounding like one of Terry Wogan’s listeners ‘Is it just me?!’ But I can’t take the cold anymore I’m on Hydroxycarbamide (500mg weekdays and 1000mg weekends) Apixaban 5mg per day I’ve got ET Jak 2 . Everyone I work with seem to be fine with low temperatures but I’m SO COLD! Solidarity

What should I do? Day 5 of covid. Was OK bu last night started producing a lot of mucous. Suffer from bronchiectasis/pseudomonas.
Breathing OK but worried it could be pneumonia. I don't react well to antibiotics. Got some ciprofloxacin here but so ill 2yrs ago on them. Scared. Lindax

Ototoxic drugs
I was scrolling through some old posts looking for something about habituation. But what caught my eye was a post about ototoxic drugs - those medications which may have an adverse effect on T, specifically. Either currently or in the past I’ve been prescribed several of those mentioned and none of these

Hypothyroidism is prevalent among adult women with chronic lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS)
A very recent paper with a potentially important indicator of hypothyroidism. My conclusion is that chronic LUTS should automatically be given a full thyroid panel (unless already diagnosed hypothyroid). One third is a very large proportion. Also, need to consider the current treatment of those who

Positive Covid guidance advice
Hi, I've just taken two Lateral flow tests and both positive and recorded on the .gov site. I'm not sure on the latest guidance. Should I do anything else, I have PV and taking Hydroxyreau and Aspirin? I have symptoms, breathing not normal, cold and achy, bit of a cough that keeps coming and going

Insomnia!
I have been reducing my dosage of Ropinerole from 0.5mg to 0.25 a good few weeks ago with a couple of Tumeric tablets I have mentioned about on my earlier posts. It seemed a good combination that seemed to work by reducing my RLS in the evening and night, but all of a sudden the last week or so I have

Opinions on Hemp creams.
Hello everyone, I've recently decided to purchase some compression gloves for my hands and this cream called Hemp Active cream by 5kind popped up on my screen. It has a lot of good reviews but they also have a stronger version. I'm posting this because I've used Voltarol in the past and it doesn't really
