Follicles slow
Hi everyone I’m on the long protocol, had a scan yesterday on day 9 of stims and nurse said the 7 follicles she found are growing slowly so need another few days of stims and I’ve upped the gonal F to 450. Was so disappointed only 7 as most ladies on here have many more. I’m worried as it’s my first

Creatine and BCR
Hello, New here. Have had a good 8 year run with <.64 PSA on my yearly tests. Last one a few weeks ago came back at .12 so I guess its BCR time. Gleason 4x4 with 20 psa at surgery. Was treated at Mayo in Scottsdale in 2010. Before prostate cancer I used to hit the gym pretty hard. On work out

Pain in leg- coincidence or side effect of stims?
I started stims yesterday with Gonal-f (300iux2) and Luveris 75iu . Today I woke up with an aching leg, from hip to knee. I thought it was a cramp/restless leg but I still have it and it's still as painful. I've stretched and tried to walk it off but it has made no difference. I can't sit still with

Just had a wee and noticed light pink spotting when I wipe? I'm wondering if maybe one of my follies burst? Is that

Has anyone on here tried Inulin?
Hello All I was reading about this soluble fibre the other day and was interested to find that Angela Rippon took it when she found out, as part of her research for the 'How to stay young' programme: that, although she has an enviable slim figure; she has (or had) a lot of visceral fat around her organs

Small Fibre Neuropathy in feet
I have small fibre neuropathy in my feet and I would like to know what medication you take if any and does it help especially with the burning and numbness in the feet. I was prescribed with a low dose of amitriptyline which does not really help except gives me a good night's sleep. Also if anybody uses

First scan after starting stims
This is our first ivf cycle and after starting Gonal f last Thursday I had my first scan today, she said there were 10-12 follicles over 10mm on each side and lots of smaller ones, so I’m off for second scan on Monday and all being well could be egg collection on Wednesday! It suddenly all seems to be

Only 3 follicles baseline scan
Had my first (baseline) scan today after 16 days of buserelin. In My original scan pre hormones I had 8 eggs that Gyno could see. Only three follicles could b seen today. I was so disappointed. It’s my first IVF and doing long protocol. Start gonal f 300 today and still taking the buserelin which I can

Any experiences on cetrotide?
Hey ladies, Sorry, I'm a serial poster this week as I'm googling stuff and it's really not helping! Was wondering if anyone here has any experiences of cetrotide? I had my first jab this morning, thank goodness DH is so experienced with needles/mixing vials as it was emotional haha! The instructions

B 12
I'm 66 and have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and rheumatoid arthritis. I just had a blood test today and my B12 came back at 1400. I am also taking B12 supplements. Should I stop taking the supplements and talk to my doctor or what? Everything else came out pretty much right

Day 13 stimming - feeling awful and discouraged
Day 13 on Gonal f (dose 300). Yesterday’s scan showed follicles are developing really slowly and doc said EC prob won’t be until next week at this rate. Feeling so nauseous and tired and headachey and really low. Can Gonal F make you feel depressed (or is it just that this process sucks)? Off work today

Low E2 levels on day 12 stimms
I’m on day 12 of Gonal F and had my 4th scan and set of bloods done this morning. Gutted to hear that I only have 2 follicles above 18mm, 1 medium and a few still tiny. It’s taking foreeeeever and the meds are making me feel awful. The hospital just phoned to say my E2 numbers are only 846. Is that super

Not long now! - EC finally booked in
Hi! Just had the first lot of scans after the gonal f- omg, I think we're in business (20 follicles on the right, all currently at 12mm and 9 on the left that are about the same) starting cetratide on Wednesday and EC is confirmed for Monday. It's been such a long wait to get here, can't believe that

Slow bowel transit and irrigation
Hi I'm 69 female and have chronic slow bowel transit. I take on advice up to 6 Movicol a day and do colonic irrigation but all I get is diarrhoea. The consultant has never discussed foods for this, so can anyone advise me what foods help and what to avoid. Fibre makes it worse. I am so frustrated as

Hi really really struggling with pain. I have been to out of hours twice this week. I keep getting diazapan. So stuck on amitriptyline, Gabapentin, tramadol. The most effective is amitriptyline. Worried this burning will never end.

Transcutaneous electrical stimulation unit
Has anybody had a chance to use a TENS unit? Transcutaneous electrical stimulation does something to the muscles which is supposed to help with pain of all kinds. I've got one on right now and it definitely does something to the restless, horrible, creepy feeling but I'm not sure if I'll be able to
