Toe Problems - PMR or Steroids??
As I have dropped down my steroids (now on 10mg for the last 6 months) have had various foot issues from athletes foot to an impressively large wart (now gone) on the little toe, eruptions of eczema on the side of the foot or possibly psoriasis, dealt with by topical creams. My last visitant has

Covid /Flu Jabs
I have recently been diagnosed after being misdiagnosed for rotator cuff! It seems odd this started after Covid/Flu jabs and my Doctor also said she had heard of this, depending how high up the arm the jabs were given. I do not think I will have any more jabs whilst having PMR. Could be coincidence

First Round - ICSI - No Blastocysts day 6 :(
39 years old. First round of ICSI - collected 3 eggs (i'm pretty sure some were too small to justify going in as three are the minimum requirement) And I don't think my medication was correct TBH - as I was on hold to start as a last min colposcopy had to be done as my smear test results came back low

I experienced week long reactions to my previous covid vaccines/boosters and now I have Covid
I'm just curious if anyone else had a similar experience? "Real" covid is at this point this mimics my vaccine reactions. On a technical note, this sucks!

Anyone local to Devon going through IVF?
Will be starting first cycle of IVF/ICSI next month and wondered if anyone local to me? Have been waiting years for this and trying to keep positive that things are finally starting, also feeling a little anxious as despite all the information you are given or read it is still daunting. Trying to keep

Flairs following booster shots
I have been carefully and successfully tapering since the autumn. I am now on 5mg and this coming weekend I start going down to 4.5. I have just received an invitation for my 6th covid booster shot, but every booster shot so far (and my flu shots) have made me flair. I have never had covid myself

Is it long Covid
It's been a while since I last posted and probably seven years since I first did. I was diagnosed with GCA when I was 73 and I'm now 81. After the biopsy confirmed GCA I was put into the care of the kidney doctors at my local hospital as the GCA had affected my kidneys. Until this year I had six monthly

learning to run again
hi guys I was a runner pre covid infection. My health and fitness isn’t great due to the impact of covid (wasn’t hospitalised) but I miss my running but every time I tried I relapsed. Any tips to slowing the C25K down so the impact isn’t as harsh as there is no way I can start the way I did before

supplement advice
Hi all, Hope you are all keeping well. I am just wondering whether anyone has any good supplement/vitamin advice? We are awaiting further information on when we will be starting our ICSI treatment and I am just trying to get myself as healthy as I can be. I am currently taking conceive plus and 100mg

Got covid - when test turns negative?
I am 53 yrs male. I had successful transplant 10 months ago. Everything has been going well by God Grace. Thankful for new life, living every moment with gratitude. Unfortunately, I got covid 12 days ago. I had fever for initial 2 days and then all subsided. My transplant team stopped my Mycophenolate

2017 all over again
I tried breaking this cycle in 2017 and now I'm back where I started, man mental health and depression is a lonely cycle and now I'm dealing with people stalking my house. Fighting so hard to keep myself in a positive space, but the environment as well as this day and age we're living in is very tough

covid vaccines
hello everyone. I’m in the U.S. and completed BR in 11/18 and am in remission according to my labs so I have been getting all my screenings done. A month ago a skin cancer (basal cell) was removed from my right cheek just below my eye. In 4 weeks I have to have Mohs surgery to the site which means

Shingles vaccine
My wife was refused the shingles vaccine by her GP as she wasn't old enough (not over 70) we asked for it a year after she had shingles which she really suffered from and still has a bit of discomfort from. Has any MPN patients been refused because of their age?

Covid Booster - For Info
Hi all. Just to let you know I had my 8th Covid Jab yesterday (6 Pfizer and 2 Moderna so far, yesterday was Pfizer), managed to book appointment using the app no problem but what I did notice was 2 things. A/ Much less choice of vaccination centre, I ended up driving 23 miles. B/ More stringent checks
