Is it just me !
So I had a viral infection in March and pneumonia that sent me into a really bad flare up of symptoms and I'm currently still in this flare up . Whenever I get any sort of infection it sends me into a flare of symptoms. I also had COVID in September which may be contributing to why my flare up is lasting

Has prevnar13( pneumonia vaccine ) caused a trigger for people with existing inflammatory conditions?
I’m an autoimmune vasucliits patient . My inflammation in the eye was relatively managed well with immunosuppressants. But since having the Prevnar 13 , my inflammation is back in full swing . Has anyone experienced this ? If so, how have you resolved it ? Please advise .

Can anyone tell me if it's normal to feel very cold with CLL. It seems to be a new symptom, I have been like it for last 2 to 3 weeks. I'm wearing 2 jumpers and trousers and still feeling the cold. So am just wondering if it's normal lol. Donnax

Pneumonia Vaccine - Who Can Have it?
Hi everybody, it’s been a bit of a tough 10 days. Things have been going well but a week last Thursday I started getting flashes in my left eye and loads of floaters, optician referred me and went to hospital to have laser treatment on some retinal tears, because the NHS have difficulty managing appointments

Think I've made a big mistake over flu vaccine!
The short story is that I got the flu vaccine in France from the pharmacist as I wasn't well enough to have it at administered at the time. I took it with me in the car to Spain and it was administered at the pharmacy on Saturday. That was 15 days later. I did not realise until yesterday that it should

Asthma, pneumonia A&E and admission
Well it's day 3 of my treatment for pneumonia with oxygen, rescue steriods antibiotics and neubs (if necessary). I took myself to A&E on Thursday night as I thought my asthma was flaring and not responding to my salamol. Turns out not asthma but low oxygen levels and pneumonia. The nhs were at there

Follow up x-ray pneumonia
Hi everyone. I rang my surgery today to see if my follow up chest x-ray results were in. I had possible pneumonia diagnosed 4 weeks ago, apparently the 'possible' meant that the mass on my x-ray was tiny, anyway the surgery said my results were in and I had to make a telephone consultation appointment

something or nothing, blood in mucus
Good morning everyone, I am trying not to panic, I have had a normal cold for just over a week, as is usually the way I have ended up with mucus on my chest, so quite a bit of coughing, I had a fright this morning as the tissue was bloody, this has never happened before. This is my first cold since

Is it ok to take azithromycin with paroxysmal Afb but no episodes for three years.
Consultant has prescribed azithromycin to be taken every three days because I did say I had an exacerbation two years ago, although I am not sure it actually was. Also this entails undergoing three ECGs a month apart. Don't like the sound off that. I also suffer mild bronchiectasis, so I suppose I am

DSNS Taper Question
Hi all, At a recent visit to my Rheumy, he told me I'm ready to taper once again. At the time, I was at 7 MG PRED per day. I had been sick with Bronchitis for more than a month, and also had to care for my wife who contracted pneumonia a month before that, so I was not able to taper during that time

Buprenorphine
I am writing this to highlight how miraculous Buprenorphine has been for me and many others on this site. My sleep app shows how good my sleep is. I had never heard of buprenorphine until Shumbah posted that it had resolved her severe, refractory RLS. No neurologist has ever mentioned it. Like Shumbah

stop prednisone with flu vaccine?
I was told not to take my prednisone and antiviral to receive flu vaccine. Has anyone heard of that? That it would be less potent. When do we recommence ? Thank you!

Timing of flu vaccine when on weekly Tocilizumab
Hello all After an unsuccessful trial of 5 months without Tocilizumab, I am back on weekly injections. It's also time to have my flu jab. In the past when on two-weekly and three-weekly injections it was easy to fit the flu vaccine in not too close to the injections. Now, the best I could do would be
