I am writing on behalf of my mother who was diagnosed with PV back in 2002. The symptoms started with her in 2001 but it took over 1 year for my mother to get to the right hospital, a specialized Hematologic hospital of the Ho Chi Minh City and she was put on HU since then, until recently, as a BMB showed

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
I am constantly struggling with oral thrush on the roof of my mouth and now painfully in my throat. I take 2 puffs morning / 2 puffs night Fostair. I use a spacer, brush my teeth, rinse my mouth and it still keeps happening. Usually Nystatin works but this time (after finishing antibiotics) it’s not

Asthma during respiratory infections
Hi, I've been asthmatic since I was 2 years old and am now considerably older than that. Despite 45 years of experience I really don't have a good understanding of what to expect from asthma management. I use a low dose Flixotide preventer inhaler every day and salbutamol when required. Day to day you

I started taking Mirapexin in 2002. My dose increased over the years, reaching 5 x 0.088 mg tablets four years ago when augmentation set in. Pneumonia/cancer
Hi I'm new to this forum but great to hear other peoples experiences. I was diagnosed with pneumonia after an x-ray. Had antibiotics and fingers crossed, not feeling too poorly. Doctor said it was a small showing on the x-ray and that no cancer concerns at all. He said I will have a follow up x-ray in

This may provoke a tirade from people who feel very strongly one way or another, but I felt it was worth flagging up - please try to be polite! Hi everyone, Hope you’re all ok. We have just completed our second round of IVF ICSI which was unsuccessful. Our clinic is advising that we just do the same again. I don’t think that’s the best option as we’ve done the same protocol twice and hasn’t been successful. I want to speak to a specialist who

Recurrent implantation failure - please give me hope
Hello my lovely support team. I'll try and keep this rotten history of mine very very brief.......43 years old, all embryos created between 40-42. Trying since I was 36. Just one natural chemical at 41yo. So far, 5 failed transfers of 6 good-decent embryos. All bfn, no chemicals or anything else. 4 collections
