Not feeling so good
I am taking fragmin as you all know... Which is to prevent blood clots forming. Today I have rapidly gone down hill, chest pain, feels like a pile of books on my chest with stabbing pains now and then. Also my breathing is worse, hurts when I breath in... I also have what I can only describe as needle

Anyone taking fragmin?
I've been told to inject Fragmin every day up to 12 weeks to 'thin my blood'. When I asked why, the nurse said because of my early miscarriage three yrs ago. Im injecting every day but bit reluctant to take this as surely my uterus lining needs thickening to support the two embryos? She didnt seem to

Fragmin dosage query
I am currently using fragmin, the dosage being 18,000. At a haematology appointment last week, the consultant suggested at my next appointment reviewing the dosage and maybe looking to reduce it. Whilst my consultant is not an APS specialist, they do have some experience of the condition and they are

Taking Fragmin whilst on Warfarin
I have been given 1ml syringes of Fragmin for use in emergency. My Consultant said to take it if my INR drops below 2.0. At the moment it's 2.7 and I feel awful. I have never taken the Fragmin as a bit nervous it may thin my blood too much whilst I'm trying to raise my INR. I feel so bad just now and

I was given the 'all clear ' 3 weeks ago after a chest & abdominal ct scan.I was delighted as you can imagine! I went to my doctor yesterday as I have been having dreadful pain in my neck/shoulder & lower back, had some blood in my phlegm & was very breathless. He sent me to the hospital immediately

Hospital appt what should I ask?
Hi, I'm back at the hospital on Mon seeing the consultant after our 2nd failed ICSI attempt. The appointment after the first attempt wasn't very positive, he basically shrugged his shoulders and said it should have worked! We're paying now so I'm not having that again! Are there any questions I should

Aps miscarriages levels foodintolerance
After two early miscarriages I tested positive on cardiolipin IgG (35) and b2gp1 IgG (32). At this point I also did a foodintolerance test, they test different food with IgG antibodies, and I excluded the positive food from my diet. My retest 12 weeks later showed level 22 on cardiolipin and b2gp1.

Saw doctor today. All test were clear which is great but he also said I had a negative blood test for ApS.
He looked at my notes and i had a negative test before my son was born but I was still given asprin and fragmin. He repeated the test and will do again in 3 months. If negative again he might take me off warfarin. Im so confused !!! Anyone else had the same thing ? Xx

Rivaraxoban
So.....I have Hughes with very high levels of antibodies. I was on Fragmin injections which I got on with very well. However, after a consultation in October it was agreed that I would try Rivaraxoban and see how I got in with that. I was initially apprehensive when I saw the long list of possible side

Rivaroxaban
Hi, I have been injecting Fragmin since August this year and I get on well with them, however I am about to be swapped over to Rivaroxaban. I have just picked them up and read the side effects! Wow! Does anybody else have any experience of this drug and if so how do you find it? Any horrible side effects

Is it the warfarin or something else?
I am wondering whether or not the warfarin is the problem, I am only taking lansoprazole with it. 4 days after stopping fragmin injections and taking warfarin my stomach started bloating at night, extreme pains both sides as if I had kidney or gallbladder problems and lower back pain with aching joints

INR when taking Fragminshot-
My Hematologist at the hospital (she knows me since several years) wants me at an INR of 2.5 - 3.5. I am selftesting and only go to the lab every 8 weeks. Most of the time I am on an INR of 3.5. I have been much higher with no bleeding but take it down with brusselsprouts in 24 hours if it is too high
