Fragmin Advise
Hi ladies, Anyone who has previously done fragmin injections have you got any tips how to get the needle to go in easier? It’s pretty blunt and the needle is thicker than previous injections . I am 4 days in my stomach is completely black and blue, which is fine but I’m struggling to get the needle

Shock diagnosis
Hi. I was admitted to hospital last Friday with heart rate of 144 and told I have AF. Told without anticoagulants I was risking major stroke, heart attack or pulmonary embolism. Now on beta blocker, Warfarin and Fragmin. Worried 😟. Was working on day I was admitted and feeling very anxious. Don’t know

8 hour flight
I was diagnosed with ET with jak2 about 5 years ago, my platelets aren’t bad at all only 790 at last count, so am only on mini aspirin at present. Going on 8 hour flight soon, should I take any extra precautions? A colleague told me I should be taking fragmin as such a long flight! Does anyone have any

Egg retrieval day today
Just an update. Had my egg retrieval , worst outcome I’ve ever had unfortunately. Had 4, possibly 5 follicle but 3 were empty. So only 2 collected but the follicles were quite bit, therefor I’m worried too mature. Embryologist advised ISCI and if they survive , would be a 2 day transfer. I feel

So everyone thank you as always for this supportive group. Little update husband had TIPPS procedure March 22 due to blood clot in portal vein, varices and cirrhosis. Fast forward varices have gone 🤞and now a switch of medication they've added rifaximin to lactulose and thiamine (and fragmin for clot

Fragmin and aspirin
Hi again, Injured myself, like I wrote below, and have therefore been shooting 5000 IU of Fragmin every day, and not sure when I am allowed to quit it. I am writing this post since I am a bit unsure whether I should put baby aspirin on hold or not, or halve the dose. Been receiving mixed advise from

Worried about lack of mobility
Hello All, So my husband who has Childs C and has had TIPPS procedure for Portal Vein clot has recently damaged his right leg (not broken but needs MRI as they think it tendon) and broken his left wrist. Needles to say he's not been mobile at all because can't use crutches for 2 weeks. I've been feeding

Living with someone with Cirrhosis it's hard but must stay optimistic!
A Long story short (difficult) in February 22 I came home to my husband yellow and barely breathing but conscious. Ambulance took him to hospital and he had to be resuscitated twice as his heart stopped before being put on a ventilator he had erupted varices in oesophagus(he'd been losing blood both

Hello Good People A part of my kidney has been operated.
I did the surgery robot-assisted kidney resection a tumor 1.6cm , it took 3 hours and they have stopped blood to the kidney for 17 minutes, and it was 7 holes on my stomach area. The operation was good and I stayed for 4 days with the full control. I will use Fragmin 5000 small injection

Day 2 embryo transfer done , 2 week wait begins
Frozen transfer complete. Day 2 embryo. I asked what grade but just got a reply saying one was a bit slower than they expected and one was a bit faster? No idea what that means, probably not great but I didn’t push for anymore info. They are all I have left so I didnt really have much of an option.

Help! 4+4 natural on fragmin & progesterone… and some red tinge
looking for some similar cases… I’m highly anxious after 1 failed IVF, 1 IVF BFP and miscarriage and now 4+4 with a natural pregnancy. I’m being treated with fragmin for slightly elevated results for thrombophilia and (although told not wholly necessary) progesterone. I started the fragmin yesterday

Self tester with home kit since December 21. My question is when I test my INR levels can change from one day to

Possible gestational diabetes. Advice welcome
I am wondering if you kind people can please help? Currently 35+2 and since last Saturday have been using a blood sugar monitor from the hospital at home. Back story is, the baby has always from the beginning been measuring big. This is an ivf pregnancy and I have been on sertraline for horrendous anxiety
