QoL and personal decision-making

clothes for kyphosis….
After several spinal
fractures
and a loss of 4 inches in height I have kyphosis and the dreaded osteo tummy. Finding clothes that fit well is so frustrating. I’m not an ‘old’ lady so want to look fashionable. Please don’t direct me to the woman at ROS who gives tips as I’ve not found them useful.

Get a bone density test if you have PC and are taking Abiraterone etc
A bone density test is painless and quick and can see signs well before osterporesis
fractures
etc. I'm on 5 months of ADT (Firmagon first, RT with Lupron, then after RT added Abiraterone plus Prednisone.) GLTA

OUR NEXT STEP
Hello friends. We went to the radiologist yesterday. My husband will be getting an MRI with contrast. With that, he said he would be able to see anything going on with the lungs. Dr has also ordered Xtandi and the Lupron shot after radiation if it doesn't completely work. They have decided to do five

Well, my PSAs have started rising. I have one more late next week. In the past, Lupron/Casodex has successful knocked the snot out of my PSA's. Dr. Lam has suggested that I do Orgovyx next time. I have a video chat with him on the 16th. Barring a pleasant PSA surprise I will need to start it PDQ*!!

Coughing is painful, having 4 spinal
fractures
in April. I’ve now been asked to change to zolondronic acid, yearly infusion. This is NOT the same as denusomab. is anyone on zolondronic acid, and if so, how have you found it, please?

Exercise query
I've had no
fractures
. My diet is good and I exercise. The consultant I had today said as I'm not tolerating the medication and ranges are low recommends I only take the Vit D/calcium tablets for 3 years. Ince I reach this point have another scan and go from here. Sounds good to me.

Zytiga and Xtandi
I am not tolerating Zytiga well at the moment because of high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat and possible Atrial Fibrillation. I have a clinic meeting coming up shortly and am looking at alternatives so that I can speak to my oncologist with some understanding of the possibilities available. I

The dreaded Virus.
I did protest because I can never walk far because of my 7 spinal
fractures
. I normally drive up there and I can walk down the corridor. But I haven’t now got the strength. I will be 80 this year I have got attendance allowance. Not that that helps me to walk.

Israeli gel boosts ability of bones to heal themselves, mice trial finds
Bones have a natural ability to heal themselves across small
fractures
— in humans, five millimeters or less. For bigger defects, doctors use a range of solutions, often grafting bone from elsewhere in the body or using implants.

New Here
I am working on eating right and doing weight bearing exercises to help my own bones, but Mom has had 4 spinal
fractures
(now healed) and is struggling with pain every day. I want to help her to be active again but she is very resistant to exercise (even walking) because she says it hurts.

Need advice before Monday doc appt!
Quick summary - my asymptomatic husband was diagnosed in June with metastatic prostate cancer from his pelvis to his lungs to the soft tissue in his brain. PSA 9 at the time. Lung biopsy and gene tests confirmed ordinary adenocarcinoma. He was immediately given Firmagon (which then moved to Lupron)

Possible stress fracture (tibia) - so frustrated
I suspect I have a stress fracture in my left tibia (medial side, about half way up). I have to wait 2 weeks for a GP appointment so I've had to base this on my own research so far. There's a quite specific sore spot and it gets sore when I walk on it, fine at rest. I am so frustrated about this. The
