Is it really necessary to take Alendronic Acid with these results?
If the patient
fractures
after 1 year of treatment with a T-score -3 aged 65 or a T-score of -4 refer to rheumatology to consider future treatment options in the osteoporotic clinic HUTDG/OST. The patient has been given lifestyle advice on bone health.

REMS location in California?
I had two sacral insufficiency
fractures
which led to a DEXA and DX of severe osteoporosis especially in my lumbar spine. I haven't had any falls and am not a fall risk.

do fractures heal while on prolia ?
my Mum had a scan for possible fracture, had a scheduled dose of prolia, then at endo appointment, endo said she has a compression fracture. every day i find i have another question about this wretched drug, i probably should've called endo before the shot, but his instructions weren't specific.

REMS scan and strontium citrate
I now have a dilemma, as I'd like to maintain my scores without relying on strontium citrate, but I've read that bone density may decline fairly rapidly if strontium is stopped (not the same risk as Prolia (denosumab), as it doesn't lead to rebound
fractures
).

Six compression fractures in lower spine
I've had six compression
fractures
in the last three months, all treated with kyphoplasties. On Fosamax and calcium citrate plus vitamin D3. Dexa score is -2.9. Should I be on something stronger?

involuntary jerking of hands and arms
I started on Pregabalin yesterday for neuropathic pain from spine
fractures
. Currently on 15mg pred. Has anyone experienced this? Is it likely to get worse? Go away? Should I be doing anything?? It’s not disabling but has reached the level of annoying!

How does having compression fractures change your life, day-to-day, etc.?
Fractures
soon. I understand they will be painful… how do you manage them? Is laying down the only way to stop pain? Is sleep possible? What position? Anything else that could help me understand what’s coming would be appreciated! Fore-warned is fore-armed!

Tymlos after prolia
I had 6 compression
Fractures
. Because of being at such a high risk for more
Fractures
she put me on tymlos. From what I've read and from others it has good results but my prolia runs out in 3 months and she said I won't be taking it until after tymlos.

Radiation after triple therapy?
My thought is to use RT to control metastasis and prevent future
fractures
. Is this a good time in my treatment to begin RT? Thoughts on other therapies or approaches? Thanks for your responses! This site has been a God send.

Morphine Dosage?
My 72 year old mother has finally been put on morphine patches after 30 years of unbearable pain due to arthritis osteoporosis of the spine and recently, 6 spinal
fractures
. She was started off on 5mg for two weeks, then 10mg and now 15mg. It's still not touching the pain.

Improvement in bone density
At that time I was advised by a physiotherapist not to take up running as I would risk developing micro
fractures
in the bones which could lead to more serious
fractures
later on.

Bone Fractures
After he took a CT scan, he found four rib
fractures
on the right side (ribs 4-7), which I did no t know I had - only that with certain activities that side hurt. The lower left side also hurts, more than the right, but does not have any
fractures
. Go figure.

New Car wrecked
I bought a new car less than a week ago and I was in an accident through no fault of mine that left me with 4
fractures
in my arms. Left hand, wrist, and elbow. Right wrist. So now I have trouble doing absolutely everything. I can’t lift or open bottles or do personal care.

Osteoporosis and Spinal Fractures
It's not looking great for my back and my arteries are quite a mess. 7 new
fractures
and a lot of plaque throughout body. I will attach the report. The scary part is the plaque issue and of course daughter reminded me that I did have the medications.

Xtandi monotherapy is very effective
The enzalutamide monotherapy was almost as effective as enzalutamide plus leuprolide with fewer hot flushes, hypertension, falls and
fractures
. The reduced
fractures
show that the monotherapy avoids bone loss. Therefore, Xgeva is probably not required.

How much targeted radiation to mets?
Hi, Warriors. I've been through Zytiga, Pluvicto and Xtandi - all failed. Have aggressive metastatic cancer and mets head to toe. Starting to get pain in bones and already had one major blast of radiation to ribs. Can they keep blasting spots as they get painful, or is there a radiation limit?
