COVID (finally) Caught Me
Started feeling a little "
flu
-ish" on the Friday before last and was pretty blah entire weekend - on Sunday I really felt out of it - slept most of day - stuffy nose and a slight cough - tested negative. On Monday felt horr
ible, re-tested and strong positive line appeared immediately.

Increasing Prednisone when you have the flu or Covid
I read 6 months ago somewhere that if we have pmr and are taking prednisone and then get the
flu
that we should increase the dosage substantially for a few days till our
flu
symptoms improve. What happens to us and what should we do if we get Covid as well.

So, how am I supposed to feel?
It's not altogether intolerable, as it was pre-diagnosis, but I feel like I have
flu
-like body aches all the time. I guess everyone handles this differently, but wanted to hear about your experiences. Should I "grin and bear it" and slog along? Raise my dosage until I feel better?

After that I kept getting sick,

followed by common cold so that I got to only 7 consolidation runs until January 10 - plus a few short runs every time after recovering to start again with something easy.

Waking up in the night
Unfortunately, when he went for his Covid and
flu
vaccination, he picked up
flu
and was very ill so the doctor advised him to increase to 20 mg temporarily. He has gradually dropped back and is now on 10 mg with just small twinges now and then.

Morning all I apologise for labouring a point but I haven't had the
flu
vaccination to-date as I'm still hesitant regarding side effects with Hashimotos if any. I have booked the vaccination for Thursday leaving me two days to decide. Would really appreciate any input from you. Many thanks. 🎄

Season Flu!
I was just wondering if anyone has had
flu
/ cold symptoms for 3/4 weeks. I’ve had many covid tests it isn’t that but my nose has been very runny for almost a month and had a little cough. It’s also coinciding with a lot of acid reflux. Anyone have any idea?

4th Covid Vaccine??
Also, as Covid is now more like
flu
for most people thinking I'm not sure I want all these chemicals in my body at the same time. What is everyone's opinion or experience with Covid vaccines and mtx. Do you guys think it's necessary. I mean if we have a 4th then we need a 5th and on it goes.

20+ Terms That Explain Living with Arthritis Part 1
Often our medications can leave us feeling like we have a hangover or the
flu
but we didn’t drink anything. Methotrexate hangover is another very common term in the arthritis world.
Comorbidities
Chronic illnesses are like chips; you often can’t have just one.

Surprised at results. An update.
By the late afternoon the
flu
symptoms hit me very hard. The next day had a migraine, felt absolutely awful. Didn’t know if I was coming or going. What was the meds, what was the migraine. Still wiped out the following day. But the day after that, I returned back to how I was pretty quickly.

outbreak in your region? Where I come from, it is in every family. Should we get worried?

2nd Besremi shot
I had none of the mild
flu
like symptoms that resulted from shot #1. While that effect shows the INF working as my Dr confirmed I guess that not having it on the 2nd shot is a good sign for tolerance. I tried pre cooling the shot area as suggested by Wyebird.

Latest CBC, CMP and Besremi shot
But I wear a good fitting N95 always on my rare outings and INF has a common side effect of
flu
-like and it may well be the INF effect. On Bes seems a pattern of my largest effects are exactly a week later. If days like yesterday get common I'm not sure about 150 mcg, or INF in general.

Accessing Antivirals
I'm guessing it's the milder, Omi variant, so just feels like having a bad cold or
flu
. I'm so-ooo glad I've had the vaccines though (my 4th being just 12 weeks ago).
