Tamsulosin (Flomax) causing/increasing AF?
I’ve been taking Tamsulosin for almost 5 yrs ago. AF starts just this February. Just read it’s side effects more closely, and noticed one NIH paper and another source, mentioned causing AF as a rare side effect. Have stopped it, and will look for an alternative if need be. Anyone else noticed any correlation

Flomax and Me
How do you know when you can go off of
flomax
? Long term side effects? I'm 3 months out from my radiation therapy at Kaiser. My
flomax
script was over at 6 weeks post radiation! Then, my urination was very painful, demanding and frequent.

After two weeks on Tamsulosin, noticing leg cramps at night
After the third treatment session, I started to have urinary retention, and was given
flomax
, which immediately improved the urinary retention, though it was still a slower flow than before treatment. I also am experience some burning during urination, though that has been improving.

Flomax dosage 2x a day?
Not sure
Flomax
is really working for me with one dose. Possibly the radiation is really putting the cabash to what this drug can do. Appreciate the feedback!

Xtandi-Lupron Side Effect Questions
His numbers went way, way down so they were able to cut him back to half the Xstandi to help with dizziness issues that Xstandi &
Flomax
were causing, that helped but numbers crept back up, so he's now on 3/4 dose. He's been on it a year and is not the man I once new.

I'm 84 and diagnosed with PC 5 months ago. I was told I had High Risk Localized PC with a Gleason score of 8.
I also take .4 mg
Flomax
(I no longer have fainting spells in the early morning hours since I started taking
Flomax
in the late afternoon after a snack).

Pain and bleeding 1-1/2 years post radiation
He's been taking
flomax
, but this past couple of months he's had a lot of pain while peeing, and last week some blood. Urinalysis shows no infection, but on Thursday doctor suggested a cycle of Aleve and Doxy, just to be sure.

Silodosin, Frequent Urination and PCa
The primary use of this drug (like
flomax
) is for enlarged prostrate. My prostrate is not enlarged but, from what I read, this drug is also sometimes prescribed for those who have had radiation to this area. In addition, one study I came across indicates Silodosin inhibits prostate cancer cell.

Post Brachy
Had to go on
Flomax
to help urination - a little crampy after voiding but minor. I'm pretty active but was told to dial it way back for two weeks - no weight lifting and stay off the bike for a while. I'm still going to the climbing gym a couple times a week but have backed off.

Prazosin - Game Changer?

My urinary tract was irritated - but I never had to take the prescribed
Flomax
, and my bowels were a bit irritated - a bit gassey and cramping, but I never felt like it was a big issue, but was annoying.

LDR brachy at MSK: Five weeks post-treatment
Urologist says part of this is definitely a side effect of
Flomax
, as I told him I lost a lot of ejaculate even before treatment, when I began
Flomax
a week before. He says once I get off
Flomax
whatever effect it's having on me in this department will stop.
