Is there anyone out there on immunosuppressants taking
Flecainide
? If so, any complication?

Flecainide
my
flecainide
was increased from PIP to 50mg twice day. Then it went up to 100mg twice day. Despite this I still wake up at night with AF from time to time.

Hypo type episode while on Forxiga /Dapaglaflozin, waiting for pacemaker upgrade. Any experiences with this drug anyone?
He also told me to stop
Flecainide
and continue Bisprolol. The HF man thought dropping the
Flecainide
was "very cautious", but deferred to the EP. So a little confusion there! Apologies forTMI. But if anyone is still reading I would love some advice about these meds.

ECG from watch since stopping Flecainide
This is from my Apple Watch, I see a higher T wave than I did when on
Flecainide
, question is whether this is normal/expected?

To start blood thinners or not?
My doctor’s solution is to double my current dose of
Flecainide
from 50 mg twice a day and prescribe Apaxiban.

Molnupiravir interactions with flecainide/tambocor
I discovered that Paxlovid is contraindicated for people taking
flecainide
. (I take 100mg, twice a day. ) My pharmacist noted that Molnupiravir (Lagevrio) was used as an alternative to Paxlovid for people in my situation.

Update on the AF journey…
However, this one has now recommended staying on
flecainide
long term. Said as I’m in sinus rhythm, why risk the side effects? Especially risk of stroke. If I can’t stand
flecainide
long term then rethink. Going up to 100mg bd as apparently 50 mg bd is ‘sub therapeutic’ dose.

Diahhorea 24hrs after Afib episode
Both were around 105 bpm and all over the place rhythm wise.. however that’s a big improvement as is the fact that after using
flecainide
pip it went back to normal rhythm after 48hrs. However, after each episode since the ablation I have had terrible diahhorea. Am I just imagining a link?

My long standing medication includes verapamil 120 at night and 240 in the morning , Losartan, thyroxine and
flecainide
. The latter dose used to be 100 three times a day. I had reduced this to 100 a day over the last 4 years.

Sotalol ..... Part 2
As for the rest of Cardiac Consultants dissertation … will try Sotalol for 3 to 4 months, if poorly tolerated or in effective we can either increase Sotalol to 80 mg twice a day or consider switching to a Nebivolol and
Flecainide
50mg combo. Could also try Amlodipine 5mg for BP.

tambocor
I definitely consider Tambocor to EASILY be the most effective form of
Flecainide
available (?!) But if it isn’t available here in the UK (for less than 87 quid….) what other/generic brand do
Flecainide
users here prefer?? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Best to all, Mike

Flecainide and immunosuppresants
Does anyone take both Immunosuppressant(s) and
flecainide
at the same time? If so, what has been your experience? And which immunosuppresants are involved.

Post Pacemaker
I am on
Flecainide
50 x2 and amlodipine 5 x 1. I really can't carry on going back to where I was. The cardiologist said go back to 40 you have the pacemaker now. I don't want to feel tired all the time.

Experiences with Metoprolol
In June, my doctor stopped the
Flecainide
after which I had two Afib episodes, one on June 23 (4 hours) and another on July July 8 (6 hours.) After those episodes, I re-started the
Flecainide
at 50 mg. x2 daily.

Weekly episodes, trigger ideas?
I have a pacemaker and take metoprolol for Tachy-Brady and now
flecainide
for aFib. I used to take
flecainide
(75 daily)to control my it…until it didn’t. So, in 2006, I had an ablation, which worked beautifully and eventually allowed me to go off my
flecainide
completely.

No more propafenone!!!! What???
From what I have read, there is a dangerous shortage of propafenone in the U.S and Canada (at least), and this shortage has spilled over into shortages of
flecainide
and tikosyn! Apparently there is little to none to be had, and this is expected to continue until late February!

Flecainide
This was the first time I would take
Flecainide
PIP, and the EP wanted me to take it at the ER. He prescribed me 50 mg. I am on 180 mg of Extended Release Diltiazem.

Can Sodium or Calcium Channel Blockers Worsen SVT?
I have failed Norpace and also
Flecainide
. The problem I am having is that it seems that these medicines are making the SVT worse. I have Atrial Tachycardia. I cannot find any information about this. Where can I get more information?
