PA/stomach pain
Hi all, Iām so grateful for all of your support as Iāve started down this road. Got diagnosed with PA/AIG in the fall via an endoscopy. I am on B12 injections. My stomach pain has gotten steadily worse instead of better even though I am on a very restrictive diet. Is there any reason for me to believe

I now have more results Serum folate 14.3 (3.1-17.5) Ferritin 138 (13-150) Iron 14 (5-28) B12 280 (200-940) Since they are in the range āeverything is normalā! The coeliac one was clear so I can now try gluten free for 3 months to see if it makes any changes. But I am still tired, muscle aches

B12 injections stopped by gp after 5 years treatment on nhs

Iāve always eaten meat my whole life - so my deficiency was not caused by diet. They have stated that my deficiency is due to malabsorption, but my intrinsic

My SCT journey continues
Hi all, not posted for a while but I am now at day+33 and finally starting to feel a bit normal again. I had very bad mucositis following sct and then problems with fluid retention due to all the IVs, mainly tpn as the ng feeding tube didn't stay in. Anyway looks like I'm going home on Friday so that's

does anyone out there have histamine intolerance?
hi Iāve just changed from hydroxicarbamide to interferon. Seems ok, fingers crossed, but I also have histamine intolerance amd the absence of Hydroxicarbamide seems to be allowing my mast cells to have a high old time churning out histamine. Has anyone else experienced this? Louise

Reconstruction after Mastectomy
Happy Holidays!!! I was wondering if there's anyone who's had a mastectomy with reconstruction and regretted it. I'm 43 MBC and there's a mass in tge same breast they've been watching but I think it's time to have the mastectomy as a preventative measure. Anyone willing to share their experiences?

Lansoprazole /Prolia
In my Sunday newspaper today the usual GP column has a question put to the GP about Lansoprazole use. Following a mini stroke this lady was put on various tablets one of which was Lansoprazole, and she developed pains in her legs and hips, had a scan and was told she had early-stage osteoporosis. She
