Moderate Fatty Liver with normal liver enzymes
Fibrosis
bloodwork came back as high and in category F1-F2 w no NASH. Went to a hepatologist and she did a fibroscan. It came back moderately fatty, but enzymes remain normal (AST 16, ALT 15). I don’t have high cholesterol or diabetes.

Fatty liver physical symptoms
It feels like the physical symptoms don’t quite match the findings, so I’m wondering if it’s possible that a slightly fatty liver can also have some of the symptoms more commonly associated with
fibrosis
/cirrhosis, or if the liver might not be the cause of some of them.

Spoke to the doctor this morning, biopsy showed some
fibrosis
/scarring, apparently Anagrelide, which I’ve been on for some years, can make this worse! So dosage is being reduced from 4 to 3 per day. Platelets currently at 495 but he said it should be ok if they go up to 600.

Starting a fresh egg collection straight after a failed FET
I had my third embryo transfer on Friday - today is 3dp5dt. The transfer itself went smoothly but I am not feeling confident as since then I have had no symptoms. I know people say they get a positive with no symptoms, but I have been pregnant twice before (both ended in mc) and had really obvious cramping

endometriosis and external (not in uterus) fibroid surgery
I’m preparing for embryo transfer and wanted to get an endometriosis and fibroid surgery first. Does anyone have advice on this? Should it be done at all? They will do three small incisions for the laparoscopy for endometriosis and take out the fibroid vaginally. Could any of this healing impact embryo

Anyone not stopped bleeding during FET prep?
Hi gang, We’re currently prepping for another FET and have a situation I’ve not come across before. I took Provera to induce a bleed this time as there’s a shortage of Norethisterone which I usually use. Took forever for period to start, then started progynova on day 2. Usually during prep for a

Hands
Since he had a liver infection last autumn he has been left with liver damage (
fibrosis
) which limits what drug treatment he can have. He is wondering about a local steroid injection to help manage the wrist / hand pain. I am trying to help him cope with the frustrations of ongoing limitations.

How much would 7 days of buserelin roughly cost?
Hello, I am potentially going to need to add Buserelin into my next cycle to keep me down regulated. It wasn't planned because my ERA is having to be repeated because there was too much tissue and not enough medium in the sample so the tissue wasn't testable when it got to the clinic... But that's

Amiodarone
I gather that there are alternatives but they are not as effective (in treating Afib, not in giving pulmonary
fibrosis
!) I’m 69, male with Asthma and my pharmacist is unhappy with this proposal; does anyone have and experienced of the drug and am I being unduly alarmist? Many thanks

Asking a question on behalf of my Mum with regards to a hysterectomy. Ladies who have had it what did you keep?
My mum is 51 has always suffered with extremely heavy periods and as she has gotten older this has gotten significantly worse. After being put on iron tablets and tranexamic acid by the GP with not much relief she was referred to a gynaecologist. The gynaecologist examined her and said her uterus

Hello ladies, I want to have a small polyp in my uterus removed before further IVF treatment. Any recommendation for a reputable specialist at reasonable price? I'm living in Basingstoke. Best wishes for you all!
