After embryo transfer
Dear all, I had my embryo transfer yesterday and I am now bed resting. The doctor advised me to sleep on my sides or back, but not on my stomach. I am feeling tired of sleeping on my back and a bit scared to sleep on my side, so any advice on how to make this more comfortable would be greatly appreciated

Diagnosis: "Favors Essential Thrombocythemia"
My bmb did show some "mild to moderate reticulin
fibrosis
. Nevertheless the diagnosis favors the ET. My hematologist says that we will keep a close eye on bloodwork going forward. As I have the Calr 1 mutation and am already on Eliquis, no additional medication is warranted at this time.

Tocilizumab for systemic sclerosis (with mild ILD) - any skin improvement?
Although my lung
fibrosis
is mild, my skin situation is getting worse. Initially I was recommended to start Rituximab (both by rheumatologist and respiratory doctor) , now a few days ago I received a call from Dr. to tell me that the final decision is to start Tocilizumab.

First embryo transfer done against the odds !
Not really a question, just putting it out there after an incredibly anxious 48 hours. We were a foot deep in snow this morning and not sure if the FET would go ahead after so much waiting, but it did. Skeleton staffing at the clinic but so grateful they were able to get in. Thank you to those of you

Polyp removal results
Hi I had 2 polyps removed on Tuesday privately and have to wait for the test results from the lab to come back before we can progress with our cycle. I was just wondering if anyone had previously had this issue and how long their results took to come back. I am not normally an impatient person but

Fibrosis
? My breathlessness has improved but now my biggest worry is my skin . My hands ( finger tips) became so hard and dry they cracked in jan / feb. I put it down to having 3 lots of gel/ acrylic nails plus the weather.

Liver Detox tips?
After being diagnosed with advanced liver
fibrosis
, we are looking at natural ways to support her recovery. We’ve switched her diet to a complete organic model. Is there anything else that anyone can recommend to detox her liver?

Warning about Cetrotide?
Did anyone’s clinic warn them about the risk of anaphylaxis taking Cetrotide? I read the data sheet and it says the first dose should be given under close medical supervision due to the risk of life threatening anaphylaxis?! It’s not a small risk either (1/100 to 1/1000). No one has said anything about

Cough improvement - bronchiectasis
As a result of the various scans done when in hospital it was discovered that I also have pulmonary
fibrosis
which is not good news. I am due my first consultation (by telephone) with a consultant for this diagnosis next week so will perhaps know more after that.

day 6 slow developing blastocysts - any success stories?
hello I’m currently 5dp6dt of a double day 6 frozen embryo transfer. One was 2BB The other is an ‘early blastocyst’ and not able to be graded. Im feeling really down as everything I read says that the likelihood of a live birth/pregnancy is low. Im concerned that they’re both such early stage

Is it normal to experience breast tender _heaviness or painful to touch when you are preparing for embryo transfer
. I am taking 6 tablets a day of progonova for my utrus lining and in day 6 I started to feel so much pain in my breast. Does it mean my prolactin hormonal is raising and this will be a cancelled cycle to transfer . Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you all

BMB Results Not Clear - Is this Common?
So imagine my surprise when my BMB results were equivocal - signs of ET and pre-
fibrosis
primary MF (not secondary MF). I will obviously be talking to my doctor, but it won't be for several weeks.

Light bleeding 7 days after embryo transfer
Hi all, I had a 5 day frozen embryo transfer 7 days ago - 2 embryos put back. 48 hours later, I experienced some mild cramps and again the day after that. This morning I have some more mild cramps and I've just been to the toilet and have a very light pink discharge? Could this be my period so soon

Hi everyone, I saw a consultant yesterday via Cancer pathway GP referral, I have had horrendous heavy painful periods for as long as I can remember, I saw a consultant 4 years ago who said I had large fibroids and fitted a mirena coil. My periods never changed! It has taken over my life, so yesterday
