How long until frozen embryo transfer?
Hello, I have 5 embryos in the freezer and I'm currently waiting for my period to start so I can request to start the transfer process. 6 weeks today since my embryo transfer withdrawal bleed so far :( I'm finding the waiting very hard. I have the patches and pessaries ready. How long is the process

Cough after embryo transfer
Hi All, I had my 6th embryo transfer yesterday and this time I’m being treated with an immune protocol including steroids and other drugs. I’ve managed to pick up a cough and it seems worse after the transfer. Has anyone experienced a cough/cold after transfer and had any successes please? I don’t have

How do you take a double dose of desogestrel?
Hello, my gynaecologist has recommended I double the dose of my mini pill to try and reduce pain and stop my constant bleeding. I've struggled to find information on the best way of doing this - am I best taking one every 12 hours (eg. One at 9am and one at 9pm) or am I better off taking 2 at the same

Fibroscan update
I asked the nurse if I still had
fibrosis
and she wasn't able to say. She also couldn't say if I had fatty liver still, but just said to enjoy the results and stay on track. I can't help but worry it's still fibrotic.

Amiodarone
Just saw my EP Monday and the result of a chest xray was "minimal
fibrosis
", a noted side effect of this evil drug. I am now going to have a cat scan of chest soon. My EP is not concerned but I sure am.

Prostap and spotting
Hi I have endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and cysts, I'm currently trying out prostrap injections. Anyway after the first injection I had bleeding for the and a half weeks. Then nothing for twenty weeks, but on Sunday I started spotting, it keeps stopping and starting too. I'm wondering if it's

AIH and the Mirena Coil
I have stage 3 liver
fibrosis
and an enlarged spleen. I have recently had the Mirena coil fitted because since taking medication for my liver, I have had incredibly heavy and frequent periods.

post embryo transfer
hi everyone This is my first time posting in this group. I had my first embryo transfer on Monday, I’ve felt relatively ok with the odd little twinge and cramp. I’ve not had any bleeding. My boobs are SO SORE. Today is the first day I would say my stomach has felt ‘normal’ since starting injections

Still can't tolerate thyroid medication, housebound 26 F, very hypo and hypo adrenals, on HC 25mg
Hi guys..does anyone have any advice. I am house bound 26 year old female for over a year now. I was put on HC 25 mg by an endo because he suspects non classical congenital adrenal hyperplasia. My adrenals are completley exhausted. I no longer make enough catecholamines also confirmed by a neurotransmitter

Update - pinning all our hopes on one embryo
Thanks for all your well wishes. We started with 5 eggs, which dwindled down to 2 embryos by day 3. As you know, we requested for a day 3 single embryo transfer against clinic advice. Well, it looks like my remaining embryo did not make it to blastocyst. We just got the call. My clinic feels that

Non invasive testing
with all the different testing that take place, what do people believe is accurate if there Fib4, Apri, NAFLD
Fibrosis
test and Blood tests like elf, Fibrosure, Liverfast. All agree but Fibroscan doesn’t. Who is right? I would say further testing with another imaging.

Humidity and heat
Hello, I have asthma and my husband has pulmonary
fibrosis
and emphysema, we are both finding it hard with the heat and humidity. Does anyone know if it helps to reduce the humidity by using a dehumidifier?

Possible phlebitis on birth control worried
I've been on birth control for about 10 years....I chose to go on it, as I had the most crippling anxiety and it took a while to figure it was my hormones causing it.After a few years, I started having very heavy periods with clots, and I was given a hysteroscopy. They only found that my womb was slightly

Advice re: ‘widespread portal hypertensive gastropathy’ following gastroscopy.
He has also been referred for a Fibro Scan due to concerns that he has cirrhosis with advanced
fibrosis
. Still waiting for a date for that. He has been a heavy drinker for years, but has been abstinent now for several weeks due to concerns about his health - it has really scared him!
