Advice needed on iron levels (plus an update on Targinact)
Hi everyone, I posted recently asking for advice about Targinact, which I started taking on 10 January. I had such an extreme and horrible reaction that I stopped taking it 15 days later. Given my dose was only 5/2.5mg daily, I haven't had any withdrawal issues other than feeling very tired and depressed

what to think?
My iron was low 5 years ago (although not anemic obviously) but it was never mentioned to me and on
test
I just had it was normal -
ferritin
25. I was frankly hoping it would be low and that would be the reason for all of this.

Starting B12 injections, how often?
My blood
test
results were as follows folate 3.4ug/L,
ferritin
19.9ug/L and B12 218ug/L before any medication. I started on iron and folate tablets a week ago. What I'm wondering is how often should I be getting the B12 injection after the first one? (I am in Ireland). Thank you

help with results - Hashimotos?
Can someone help me interpret these results please? The anti-thyroidperoxidase is so high. Does this mean I have hashimotos? Ferritin and Vitamin D are on the low side. What level of supplements do people suggest? Mid 50s female. Currently on 125mcg levothyroxine. Slightly overweight but not massive

Suspected Pernicious Anemia - what next?
Hello, I am very glad to have found this forum as I have been researching B12D and PA a lot recently. I became familiar with the society’s website and found it so helpful. I am 29F in the US and I suspect I have Pernicious Anemia. This is what I know so far (sorry in advance if this post rambles on)

Help would be greatly appreciated
Due to having been very unwell I am struggling cognitively ATM. Could anyone please tell me which cofactors I need to balance. This is so stupid of me but I can't even read the info in the various books I have. I know I need to check ferritin and folate but what else ? Magnesium ? Thanks in advance

New to the group - looking for some realistic advice on recovery time after loading doses
Hi all. I am new to the group and this delightful condition we all have! Similar story to many, blood tests showing low B12/folate/ferritin (although this hasn't been mentioned at all by my GP). Had 6 x loading doses followed by 5mg folic acid that I'm on for three months. I was told last week that since

Can I get any help on my ‘normal’
ferritin
blood
test
. 24ug/l. Range. 11-307 my husbands, same range is 200ug/L We eat the same meals . Is there any way mine could be improved as it appears to me that it would take more than a diet to fix it .

Recommendations for Iron panel?
Hello, Does anyone use an Iron Panel test which they can recommend? We have used Medichecks but got in such a pickle with the ferritin ranges/versus NHS ferritin range and results that I am looking for another company. Or to be honest it may have just been me who couldn't work it out. Just looking

Help with Folate
I am now having B12 injections. I ordered Folate that SlowDragon said. It says do not take with anti epileptic tablets, which I take for neuropathy. I also need a B complex and Ferritin. I also take Zopiclone (sleeping tablet), Diazepam (Valium) and I think these supplements interact with these drugs

Not anemia? Lab results question.
It's been a couple months since my last iron infusion. Last week, I had labs drawn, and results included: [H] WBC (18.1), RDW (16.4), Platelets (614), Creatinine (1.04); [L] MCH (24.1), MCHC (30.5), Iron (22); [LL] Iron Saturation (7). Hemoglobin was just within normal range at 11.2, and

I just found old lab results from after my pregnancy when everything fell apart, low ferritin then...nobody noticed...never fully diagnosed.
I am wondering what these original labs mean. In 2004 I felt like I was completely losing my mind after having gone through a time where I was very hyper...could hardly eat or sleep...super hypervigilant. I was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis and put on Levothyroixine. Since then it's been 19
