Worried. High GGT & Fatty Liver
Hi everyone I had blood tests done back in September because I was feeling fatigued. My results come back with 163 GGT and everything else was normal. I wasn't a massive drinker and only had about 5 gins a month, but quit altogether after the results. My GP arranged for an ultrasound to be done because

FET tomorrow!! please share your positive experiences :D
hi all, i hope you're going strong and keeping well in your journey xx We have our FET booked for tomorrow early afternoon, I've been feeling a bit numb about it after the disappointment of our first fresh transfer, I'm sure it's a coping mechanism as I normally have a positive outlook on things. Anyway

Finally
Morning I actually got to see my GP last night! Thankfully she listened ( borderline B12 and very low folate) this is after speaking to two other Gps in the surgery who didn’t believe me ☹️ Anyway she suggest Pernicious Anemia! Woohoo! So have some blood tests to follow ❤️

CT Scan Angiogram Problem Today
hello all Got a call from my hospital yesterday giving me a CT scan angiogram appointment for today instead of November. Drank lots and lots of water today as I know my veins aren’t brilliant but they couldn’t insert the cannula needed for the dye. I had 4 different people try and I felt like a pin

increased headaches not on Aspirin
Hi all, Just a query question plz. I recently went to hospital with bleeding from my back passage after ongoing toilet problems. I had lots of blood tests carried out and everything appeared to be ok, although they told me to come off the Aspirin for a while and speak to my Heamo on next appointment

fatigue
I was just changed from monthly blood tests to 6 months and 6 month check ups....the doc said I was stable and there was a good chance i would never need treatment. I am 76 and maybe he thought I would naturally not live that long. Anyway, my concern is this ongoing fatigue that smacks me in the face

Hello peeps! I was fine, as you all said, didn't really feel the local going in! A little uncomfortable when the actual needle went in but for a few seconds only. A lovely, thoughtful team too and I agreed to partake into a Treatment Trial, non-drug, to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment

I have been on 75mcg for a number of years since having a lobectomy and isthmusectomy in 2015. This was reduced from 100mcg in 2019 following TFT (TSH 0.02) even though I felt well on this dose. any way to increase ferritin without increasing iron saturation?
after two months of taking iron supplements (75mg every other night on empty stomach), my ferritin rose from 51 to 158. Unfortunately, my iron saturation rose from 46% to 59%. This is caused by fairly high iron (172) and fairly low transferrin (291), though both are within normal range. My doctor

Why can blood tests be so different on retest 4 weeks later & better not to react.
Well 4 weeks ago I had liver tests that showed ALT over the recommended levels.Sent docs & myself into full reaction level.Chat with nurse & pharmacist re diet & medication.Retest results back perfectly fine.On first test Alt 42 s be less than 40 .Today's result 27 without making any changes.Only thing
