MARINE COLLAGEN AND EDOXABAN ANTICOAGULANY
Good morning on a sunny clear frosty day. Does anyone have experience of using marine collagen while on an anticoagulant? I have osteoarthritis but had to stop helpful supplements such as fish oil and glucosamine and chondroitin when I began taking Edoxaban. Certainly the fish oil with high Omega 3 was

Delusions/Hallucinarions
I became very sick 5 years ago with all the symptoms of PA but was undiagnosed. I got to the point where I started having delusions of parasitosis and hallucinations. Has anyone else experienced delusions or halluconations? I'm afraid my brain may have been permanently damaged?

Moorefields Consultant
I had an appointment at Moorefields on the 14th February this year and my Consultant said i had pernicious anemia and that my GP was to give me B12 injections - well she will not do it - this is the third time in eighteen months that she has refused what the consultants say and they even send her letters

I’m 35 and recently diagnosed with EPI and
fatty
liver
. I just got married to the love of my life after decades of loneliness and abuse. I’ve barely given her 3 months of a husband. I feel so guilty and ashamed. Thoughts of suicide rush through my head constantly.

Liver Elastography compared to Ultrasound
Long story short, Liver enzymes were mildly elevated so my doctor ordered an ultrasound which showed
fatty
liver
and nodular contour suggestive of cirrhosis. Finally got appointment with GI doctor that specializes in liver problems and he thought I may have a component of Nash or Ash.

Call out to liver cancer patients who have received SIRT
The British Liver Trust is currently campaigning on behalf of liver cancer patients – specifically we want to improve access to minimally invasive cancer therapies. We are keen to hear from patients who have received selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) who would be willing to tell their story

Rejected for liver transplant
This morning my partner was advised by the Royal free liver transplant assessment unit that he had been rejected for a liver transplant. This was on the basis of false information. The drug and alcohol nurse had advised that he was unwilling to allow RF to access his data from the drug and alcohol support

I know I have fatty liver which has possibly progressed to cirrhosis. Now breast cancer.
I was diagnosed with
fatty
liver
three years ago and advised to give up alcohol which I have not managed. I had a routine breast screen which has shown cancer. I know liver problems can prevent chemo, has anyone else had an experience with these two conditions together?

Tips Between Egg Collection & Transfer
Hi everyone, I had my egg collection on Thursday and we’ve got 5 fertilised. All being well, transfer should be Tuesday. I’m just wondering if there’s any tips, diet, supplements, activities I should be doing between now and Tuesday? I’ve read so much but now I’m here, I can’t remember half of it. I

Waiting for blood and ultrasound results, suspected cirrhosis and portal hypertension
Had bloods taken February and Ultrasound March and am awaiting results. I gave up alcohol in February which I haven't found too difficult. The sonographer told me quite a bit, apparently pancreas, kidneys, spleen and gall bladder seem to be okay. There is some scarring on my liver but he said he'd seen

What is the correct number for ALT and AST to be normal.
Dr. says your liver is fine. had her PA call me who seemed to know nothing about
fatty
liver
. Is my liver ok based on blood results? I am confused as to the
fatty
liver
diagnosis on CT Scan and now blood work ok.

Options for PBC Itch?
Hello, I have had PBC for years with progressive itch. I am an "incomplete" responder to Urso and Ocaliva (on both). I take Cholestyramine but in the past year the itching has gotten significantly worse where I scratch all night, am scaring up my arms and legs and tear the dead dry skin off the soles

The US results were uploaded to the portal (

). The Fibroscan results were never uploaded. My follow up is on 11/15. I emailed the nurse and told her I was concerned. She said the Fibroscan confirmed I have
fatty
liver
and the dr would go over the results at my appt.

Husband recently diagnosed with decompensated cirrosis of the liver
Hi, Im new to this forum, and hoping for some support as I feel a little lost! My husband was admitted to hospital at the beginning of December 2021 with gross asceties and jaundice. It was a battle to get him to even see a Dr and I had to lock him in the house and force him to get help, as he was dying
