Re - chemo cocktail, Caelyx and Yondelis.
Good morning , After 5 lines of chemo my doctor has come up with this new regime - 6 x 3 weekly sessions if it proves to be working and if I can cope. I finished the 5th line just over 3 months ago. I’ve had Caelyx before but I’ve never heard of Yondelis. Has any one on this forum had any experience

Beta blockers and Cosopt
I have been using Cosopt eye drops to reduce the pressure in my eyes for some time. I have been recently put onto a beta blocking tablet (isoprolol) for heart problems. As both these medicines contain beta blockers I will be getting a more of the drug in my body. What about the impact on my eye though

Question about reducing Pred
The last six weeks I have been reducing very slowly by .5mg from 4mg to 3.5mg. I have done this a few times without success ending in a flare. This time I am at the moment totally free in the upper half of my body from pain or stiffness, but have been getting what I think is withdrawal symptoms around

Newly diagnosed with secondary open angle glaucoma - experiencing dizziness
I had a brief chat with a doctor - she said as I hadn’t noticed any visual disturbances or noticed any
pain
above my
eye
, it was unlikely to be the drops causing the problem. To be honest, she didn’t fill me with confidence.

Intramuscular Depo Injection resulting in Flare From Hell 3 days later…..
…..anyone else? Excruciating pain from actual injection site after 3 days accompanied by worse flare I’ve ever had. Maybe tomorrow will be better? PS…first couple of days my awful spinal pain lessened, also inflammation in hands. This is just completely debilitating…..and after so many many months

Following on from another member's issues with groin and hip discomfort - here is my situation - very similar I have just had results for another hip xray and nothing more showing than over a year ago but the pain in my groin and top of my leg have increased so much in the last 3-6 months. I have

Posterior vitreous detachment
Yesterday feeling great for the first time in ages. Did yoga with no impact on shoulders and then a bit of weeding. Then in the evening I noticed quite a prominent floater. It was still here this morning and joined by a cloud of tiny floaters that were hardly visible. It felt wrong so I got an emergency

Suspected endo/fertility issues
Hi everyone ☺️ this is my first post and really just after some advice at this point. I started my periods age 10, had horrific cramps in my teenage years and hormonal migraines. Never considered at the time that this was anything other than 'bad periods'. I went on the mini pill age 17 for contraception

itchy eyes
Hi, I have itchy eyes on and off and wondered if it was to do with my thyroid or maybe an allergy. Any help would be much appreciated.

New to PMR and hopefully its on its way out!
I started suffering bad neck stiffness and then back and eventually hip stiffness about 6 weeks ago (early March 2023). I'm 56 and a very keen cyclist (normally 8-12 hours of cycling a week), and so am not used to feeling like an invalid! I find cycling OK, although my legs feel very heavy, but walking

Glaucoma, prednisolone and anxiety supplements
Good morning all I am being treated for GCA and at the moment I’m on 20mg of of prednisilone, I am coping ok and trying to stay as healthy as possible, I already have glaucoma and sadly the steroids have pushed my eye pressure up, I saw my eye consultant yesterday, he is quite concerned, the operation

Has anyone had orbital decompression for graves eye disease?
Hi I have Graves eye disease and I am considering orbital decompression. I also have Graves. Will it leave scars? Will it cause numbness due to nerve damage on my face? I am told this is likely. I would like to hear from anyone who has had this surgery. Do you recommend? Thanks

Intrusive thoughts of Ex
I can’t get over my ex for the life of me and it’s almost been a year . Thoughts pop up of her all day long , I get flashbacks of our relationship, fear at times , scared to leave my house since she lives close to me . What is this ? Trauma ? PTSD ? C-PTSD? It’s super sad . I’ve done EMDR

Collagen
Hello all. I've been puzzled by one question for a while already... When looking to buy face cream for example I keep stumbling across wrinkle-reducing skin care products which promise great results through the use of added collagen. Having scleroderma, which is essentially an overproduction of collagen

Hi, If you live in UK and have FND you may wish to check your online medical record has not been incorrectly updated. I have had FND for over 12 years following a virus. Why did my endometriosis pain get worse after taking progesterone birth control bills?
After I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, I have tried taking 2 different birth control bills (both of them are progesterone based and were prescribed by doctors). The first bill I took for 3 months and it did not help at all, it actually gave me weak pain from time to time which was not normal
