Adizem Slow Release and Flecainide
Does anyone take these 2 drugs for blood pressure and Afib? I was on one 50mg Flecainide at night but due to increased episodes my dose has been increased by my Consultant to 50g morning and night with a 100mg pip. He also prescribed me 120mg Adizem slow release which I have been taking in the morning

Review of neck fan
I was going to wait a few more days and keep using this, but I wanted to get my review out there for Xvettech and the others who are curious. The ultimate test for me won’t occur until Wednesday, so I’ve only been using this around the house. I have very mixed feelings about it. I do think that if

Hospital update and thanks.
Thank you everyone for all the messages. I was so exhausted last night when i Got home I just crashed. I don't know if it was reaction to the weekend or the new tablets. First my dog was fine. She'd only just had surgery with lost of instructions on painkillers, feeding and exercise so I was worried

Pain Killers - Fibromyalgia
Good Morning, I am newly diagnosed after suffering with widespread pain and brainfrog since 1997. I have been given Duloxetine to take, started at 60mg, then 90mg then given 90mg twice a day although i am only taking the 90mg once a day. My question is how do I get my GP to assist me with pain medication

Hi all, I’m at the point where I can’t walk without crutches, the pain down my legs and ankles is unbelievable. The throbbing in my sides feels like my ovary is trying to escape my body. I can’t stand straight or stay upright for more than a few minutes. I can’t concentrate on my job. Painkillers aren

Bed Ridden but not PMR
As some are aware I've been plaged with back and stomach spasms for weeks...months. Last Rheumatologist visit she advised "I think it's your muscles". Brilliant! Rx was 1000 mg. Acetaminophen. Last trip to ER last week, doc gave me exercise sheets. This has become increasingly worse on the daily. Thursday

What To Do Next?
Hi Friends, First post here, although I've come back to this forum a few times. I'm at a spot where, even though I know it's untrue, I feel like I'm experiencing anxiety like no one has ever experienced it before (we all know the lonely feeling). I've been dealing with this for about a year an a half

Well... the dearth of Critters on my last walk was more than made up for yesterday! Another absolutely glorious day, and a short but sweet run was undertaken before the heat set in. Variable Asthma and pain medication.
Good day to everyone, I hope you are all taking good care, especially with the warm weather! I would like to ask people from the community about pain medication and Asthma. I have a variable asthma of 5%, diagnosed at the same time as copd. 6 weeks ago I ended up in A&E with severe pain in my leg

Post Menopausal Fibroids
I am 62 and have been diagnosed with fibroids as a result of CT and US scans. Pelvic pain is constant, often severe. My HRT has been switched to Tibolone which I am told will not ‘feed’ the fibroids. I am waiting for an NHS gynae referral appointment which will not be anytime soon as there is a huge

Tortuous colon
At my last colonoscopy (at age 60) the doc told me, upon awakening, that I had a "tortuous" colon. This was a surprise to me as I've had 3 or 4 previous colonoscopies in my life and have never been told that before. I have suffered with bloat, discomfort, gas, and other issues throughout my life, though

Constant Pain
Hi there. My name is Paul and I'm new to the forum. I've been struggling with pain for many years now which was mainly lower back related and according to MRI scans was down to wear and tear/disc degeneration. Since my first MRI in 2006 I've had several more scans and the pain has gradually become
