Cataract after Preserflo treatment
I'm 4 months after glaucoma surgery / preseflo, I still have blurred vision - today I was diagnosed with a cataract on the operated eye and also retinal swelling. Does anyone have experience with such a case - how to treat it (cataract surgery will help). I will be glad for the reactions - experience

Mycophenolate reaction
Hello, I wondered if anyone has had back pain when starting this drug? I started just over 2 weeks ago on one tablet in the evening. After about 3 days of nausea all was going well, then I started with a low dull back pain. After about a week this was more pronounced- even went to get checked out for

Spasms/contractions at night causing intense pain
I'm 34 and have had endo symtoms since I was 11 when my periods started. Endo was suspected right away but I was told if I took birth control it would stop it from growing. Deep infiltrating endo was diagnosed earlier this year throughout my bowel and uterine ligaments and I'm having surgery in the spring. For

Turmeric
I have been amazed at the effect taking turmeric has had on the amount of pain I experience in my hands and how quickly this has happened. (Yes, I know about the placebo effect!) I would recommend anyone to try it (providing they check with their haems/doctors first). I take 2 capsules of turmeric extract

inflammation in eyes
I have an inflammatory eye condition either episcleritis or anterior uveitis. I’ve been on steroid drops for this which have given me cataract. On top of this inhave 2 stoma bags for a perforated bowel ( which triggered the eye inflammation). It’s been a horrendous time and I’ve become very down.

Back Pain Medication/Advice
For the past 6 months I have had very bad back pain which is impacting daily life. I have no idea what triggered it but my physio says she sees it all the time and it is degenerative disc disease. I have paid for a dozen physio sessions and several osteopath sessions which have not been helpful unfortunately

Painkillers stopped working
Hello everyone, I've had fibromyalgia since 2021 and it's full body. About a month ago I stopped taking Amytriptaline and Gabpacentin as they were acting more like depressants and did make me feel like taking my own life to escape my profound pain. A week after I stopped the prescribed medication.

Just confused
I have spent 8 months or so trying to figure out what on Earth is going on with my periods. I’ve had three scans and a couple of consultations. Friends of mine tell me they just take two paracetamol and sometimes use a hot water bottle and they’re ok. Where I generally can’t walk, take extremely hot

Interesting info
My husband had a dvt event a few weeks ago and had the usual response of heparin injections for 4 days, and put on apixaban. I commented to him that Apixaban will sort out the clot in his femoral vein .The AC nurse stopped me and said,no, Apixaban does not work on actual clots it prevents further ones

Total knee replacement - 6 weeks on
Hi Today is my 6 week anniversary of having my TKR on my right knee. I'm keen to start driving again and wondered if I need to get the go ahead from the physio first or what is the protocol? My understanding was that if you can do an emergency stop you can drive. I have an automatic car so I'll be

Sjogren's and eyes
I suffer with sjogren's and have been seen by many eye Dr's at my local hospital that is Addenbrooke's Cambridge. The last Dr I saw told me I had tried everything I could try. My eye's have been reasonably good on very calm days but a windy day upsets them and now the colder weather. The thought
