Sulphasazine
I saw both rheumatologist and ophthalmologist last week. Good news - I'm having cataract surgery under general anaesthetic. Apparently its high risk hence general. I'm also down on prednisolone from 15mg to 12.5mg. I'm hoping to be symptom free reducing by 2.5mg. Bad news - I'm now have to take sulpasazine

Natural remedies or help?
Hi I am in the process of being diagnosed atm and waiting the endless wait for a laproscopy. I was recently prescribed the progesterone pill which I have had to stop due to horrible side effects increasing my pain and periods, it wasn't working for me. I am now waiting for my GP to talk to the consultant

Advice Needed After Shunt
My sight doesn’t seem to have been affected, there is no
pain
and the
eye
has always been kind of red, so there is no change there. My next appointment isn’t for a while and I was wondering if I should try and get an earlier appointment. Thanks.

Sad Times 😞
We lost our beautiful Brodie Bear two weeks ago. I haven’t posted about it because we have been trying to keep busy but we are truly heartbroken. He was only off his food for a few days then violently sick over the Easter weekend and we took him to the emergency vets. To our horror he was in kidney failure

Two and a half weeks post upper right lobectomy.
Hello all, I’m finding lack of pain control in the middle of the night is preventing me from getting a full night’s sleep. I’m fine during the day although the stiffness in my back and side is always present. I’m gradually increasing the amount of walking and activity at home. I take rests when I need

Bloodshot eye from a scratch now seems to be more bloodshot.
Hello all, A week ago I scratched the lower part of the white of my eye. The blood seemed to be diminishing, but several days ago when waking up the eye was painful, like very bad dry eye. Cool eye drops helped, but it is still sore and veins around the eye are more red. My vision doesn’t

Hi ladies I hope everyone is enjoying a pleasant weekend . I talked with my oncologist yesterday afternoon about my recent Ct & bone scans , these were the 1 year scans since my last Paclitaxel treatment . Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide (TTFD) requires methylation
*** I ended up with High Blood Pressure taking TTFD. I no longer take TTFD. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TTFD. *** Excellent write up on Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide (TTFD) but I am unsure if it is a Methyl Donor or requires a Methyl Donor. https://www.eonutrition.co.uk/post

Clicking tmj causing head pressure……?
Hi All. Something I’ve not had in 33 years of RA. Have been experiencing what feels like pressure on both sides of my head and tenderness round my jaw, temples and back of neck. The pressure is the worst but it tends to come and go. My tmj’s (tempero-mandibular joints ) are tender and clicky and I can

Traveling with Pegasys on airplane.
Any suggestions on traveling with Pegasys prefilled syringe? I know it needs to be stored at 36-46 degrees Fahrenheit.

Any eye problems?
Hi My husband who has PV has had sore, itchy eyes for a couple of weeks, with painful spots appearing on the edges of his eye lids. He went to the GP 2 weeks ago and was given a couple of different eye ointments (an antibiotic and a lubricant). However, the problems haven’t gone away so I’ve persuaded
