PSA raise
Hello once again. My father completed 6 courses of docetaxel chemotherapy (last one on 23/05/2023) and he is getting Zoladex injections every 3 months. Last PSA result was 0.89 (14/07/2023). But as he was getting better and the effects of chemotherapy (mainly neuropathy) were subsiding, the PSA test

Milk thistle: it gives me headache (figuratively)
Hi warriors! Since I am doing chemo and chemo impacts on the liver (not only of course), I thought it would be a good idea to help my liver with Milk thistle extract (silymarin), once per day 240mg. I had two chemo sessions and luckily between the two sessions both my white cells count and liver functionalities

DHEA test - any particular day ?
AMH and fsh are best tested on day 2-3 of your cycle. I am planning to get my dhea tested - is there any particular day this should happen ? I would like to start taking before I look at my next options. My testosterone is 0.7 which is at the lower range so should be fine: is there any point in

Undetectable!!
Well, that pesky lymph node is now no longer PSMA detectable. After 1 year of Lupron, and Zytiga. So, now Im looking at 2 more years of Lupron (FML), and 1 more year of Zytiga. MO and RO both said to follow STAMPEDE trial. I want to follow SSPORT trial!! Odd thing, my Testosterone yesterday was 4

How long to Castrate Resistance: ADT+/- ARSI
Further discussion on details of EMBARK study on another HU forum bears restating here (IMO). For high risk BCR (and beyond) ADT combined with ARSI (in this case enzalutamide) is clearly superior to either monotherapy. However, development of castrate resistance between ADT + Enza vs. Enz monotherapy

Can anyone shed light on my blood test results? Taking NDT. Thank you!
Hello all, Would someone be able to offer any insight to my blood tests results here at all? Many thanks. I take 310mg of Erfa NDT. I have hypothyroidism (hashi) and am a 46 year woman (so perimenopausal) and have two children. I exercise daily for at an hour. I have coeliac disease and am gluten free

Do low PSA-producing cells still rely on testosterone to grow?
Am curious to know what the folks here know about this question. If higher PSA cells are driven to near extinction by ADT, and if only low-PSA producing cells survive, are the latter still dependent on testosterone for survival? If not, what do they depend on to grow?

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
I just recently read some interesting studies that suggest HRT could help us PD people with our symptoms? I know for some HRT is controversial. And maybe I am at the point of desperation, but should I just be asking my GP for an HRT patch? Have any of you had any experience with HRT. Is one delivery

Would I be on thin ice if I tried adaptive ADT this soon?
After 6 weeks on Lupron and 9 days on abiraterone, my PSA was .1, and my testosterone was <1. This is within the criteria being used to start people on adaptive in this MCSPC Moffitt study with Jingsong Yang - (he says I can just follow the protocol without being in the study)https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Advice Please…
hi everyone, I just received a negative on my beta. This was my second FET transfer. I have a consult with the doctor on Monday and was wondering if there is anything else I could try and do if not doing already. A little history…. • Diagnosed with ENDOMETRIOSIS • Diagnosed with HYPOTHYROIDISM

Reporting results from Eclipse Trial
Prior to beginning trial last June I had just gone castrate resistant and PSA was at 3.3. A few weeks after the last of four injections PSA settled in at .25 so there was still something left. However PSA now has quickly shot up to .75 And since I stopped Orgovyx and Zytiga, Testosterone is going up

Yes, Yes, Yes, are you kidding. Sexual performance, primal male dominance, self confidence are all affected by pelvic radiation.
I had pelvic radiation daily for a month. By day 3 the lymph nodes were 60% reduced in size. Side note when the beam hits the outer layer of skin it actually spreads out in a V shape so precision is kinda lost. Within a few years maybe one year I felt less manly, couldn't perform in bed with my gorgeous

Low cortisol but within normal nhs range
I have had 2 blood cortisol tests at 9am 1st one was 133 nmol/L and the 2nd one was 233 nmol/L . I asked to have a short synacten test to see if my pituitary is failing ( hypopituitarism) , as one of my big symptoms is low motivation, tiredness, hypothyroidism and zero libido for years despite being

Testosterone Vs. Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Need Feedback please RE: Natural Testosterone & TRT
Just spoke to my MO (a very well known Oncologist -here in LA) about my Testosterone.
Have been off Orgovyx now for 4 & half Months.
Latest Blood labs are Testosterone 79.
Oncologist says T probably will come back

Conflicting MRI vs PSMA scans
Well it appears that the radiologist who did my MRI was overly cautious. The report said I had a met on my left pelvis, one on my right pelvis, one on my sacrum, additional cancer in my prostate region and sclerotic foci in my pelvic region. Traumatic. We followed that up with a PSMA scan 10 days

Does testosterone fluctuate after ADT ends?
My treatment (Radiation/Lupron/Abirateron/Prednisone) ended on May 2. Gradually my testosterone began to come back. In August it was at 3 nmol/L and in Oct 6 it was 11 nmol/L so it is on a upward trend as can be expected. However I am wondering if there are up and down fluctuations because while
