Pain in right side, bleeding on norethisterone
Hi fellow warriors! 💛 I had three days a few weeks back where I had excruciating pain in my right side, radiating to my lower abdomen, shoulder and neck pain as well as migraines and sensitivity to bright light?? Now two weeks on, I have period pains and light spotting? I'm confused as to what

Adenomyosis and endometriosis
Hi everyone Does anyone have both adenomyosis and endometriosis? I was diagnosed with adenomyosis almost two years ago after my second lap and I’m at a real loss. The lap did little to help my pain, heavy periods or the dizziness which my consultant said means that most of my symptoms are due to adenomyosis

Norethisterone during IVF
Hi ladies, i’ve not posted for a while, but i am please to say that after a long year of appts and investigations, i can officially say we start our first round of IVF this month. Our clinic had instructed me to take norethisterone 3 times a day from day 21 of this months cycle. I was just wondering

Flooding off my feet
Hi I stopped taking norethisterone on the 31st of May and got my period yesterday the 5th of June. Today I started flooding, I’ve never experienced anything like it, it started in the supermarket, thankfully I had a maxi dress on so dumped the trolly and came home. I rang the clinic and they said to

High oestradiol
As you may know I've been having private tests as my GP is useless. My full thyroid panel was normal, surprisingly. Apart from my B12 and folate always being on the lower end despite supplementing... My cortisol was also low, had an SST yesterday and waiting on those results. My Medichecks hormone panel

Norethisterone
I stopped taking Norethisterone on Friday. The clinic said to ring when I started to bleed, I haven't yet, despite the nurse saying I would start a couple of days after stop taking the pills. I am due to start stims on Wednesday will this put back me starting my cycle? Has this happened to anyone else

Estriol Suppository
Hi, My wife has been complaining about some post menopause complications in lower abdomen (genitals, lower urinary ways etc.). She thinks this is due to dropped estrogen production. Her Gynaecologist gave her some low dose (0,03mg) estriol suppository to apply locally. She said this is not going to join

Hey fellow warriors 💛🎗 I was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis in 2011/2012, when I became worried that I hadn't fell pregnant during my 9year relationship. I also experienced strange pains and discomfort during menstruation and during other times which I put down to being 'normal.' I was given

Advice on Brother - Endocrinology Related
Hi, I wanted to get your thoughts on my brother's labs and symptoms, he's a young 17 year old. I didn't know where else to post this. It has been frustrating trying to figure out what is going on with his health which is slowly getting worse. He will be seeing his endocrinologist in a couple weeks though

New diagnosis found. Probable secondary hypothyroidism. Partial hypopituitarism. Normal Pituitary MRI. ? second opinion. Further tests?
Following a move to a different county I found my T3 prescription was cancelled before GP records transferred. So on T4 only From December 2017. I was referred to new Endocrinologist. My records and tests results were reviewed and found to be unusual. All blood tests taken at 9am fasting with 24 hour

AF arrived, injections started
AF arrived on Fri, 5 days after I took my last Norethisterone tablet. I started my injections (Bemfola & Menopur) on Saturday evening. It seems such a long time since our nurses appointment and I was worried I wouldn’t remember everything. Bemfola injection is straight forward as it comes prepared.

Hello I was lucky enough to have a consultation with Dr Peatfield last week. He suggested, given my history, that I was likeley born with a thryoid issue that's gone undetected for 46yrs. He suggested that the many miscarriages and other pregnancy complications was the result of this. After an operation

Baseline scan tomorrow
So i finished my last Norethisterone tablet on Sunday so waiting patiently for AF to arrive. Hopefully she’ll be here my morning, I can feel she’s on her way! My baseline scan is at 7am tomorrow morning and all going well I’ll be starting my injections. I’ve been told if there aren’t enough follicles
