Has anyone been taking a Tumeric (Curcumin) supplement?
If so, have you received any favorable test results that would indicate it is helping your condition?

Using Supplements
As a lupus survivor, I have all the common daily ailments, such as pain and fatigue. However, recently I have found that certain supplements which I have been taking for about 2 months, have helped eliminate the pain and I am not as tired as I was before. I would not recommend that anyone take anything

Week 3 of 'Lupus recovery diet'
Actually it's really challenging. Although I've been enjoying the creativity of making new interesting healthy vegan meals, juices and smoothies, IT'S ALL I'M DOING!! I don't have any time or energy left over to do anything else, and I'm not able to work (but that was very limited before anyhow).

My lupus journey
Hi All This is my first blog post. I'm so happy that I found this site!! At last I don't feel alone with all my worries and aches and pains! My journey started way before I was diagnosed 2 years ago. 8 years ago my twin boys started school and I felt a sigh of relief that I would at last have some

Muscle cramps/pain
I can't remember who posted the information below, however, I was telling my sister about it. She said she had read that when you have cramping, Charlie Horses, muscle tightness, etc. to eat a teaspoon of mustard. Mustard has Tumeric as an ingredient. I have tried it and it has helped my toe cramps.

Medication
Just wanted people's advice on what else to try. I am currently on tramadol and paracetamol - Find it just takes the edge off the pain. Just started duloxetine, just feeling sick with it atm. Tried amitriptiline and nortriptiline in the past, neither worked. Also on lopermide and meberviline for IBS

Pycnogenol
Have seen articles in newsapapers about Pycnogenol. It is also referred to on this asthma site news as ""'An add-on treatment made from pine bark extract may help to improve the symptoms of children with mild to moderate asthma, suggests a new study."" This was in 2005. Would appreciate your comments

Goldie Locks and the Three Bears
Goldie Locks, greedy little thing, gets to try three of bowls of porridge, three chairs and three beds. In trying each of these things, GL finds that which is “just right” for her. What about us thyroid people though? Some in the medical profession would have us believe that levothyroxine (T4

I have been suffering with Raynauds since I was about 12 and I am 21 now. I was diagnosed when I was 15 but never told much about it and I have never had a good rapport with my doctors for understanding the condition or giving any information about it. Its now getting to a point where I get attacks alll
