Collagen
Has anyone ever heard of taking a collagen supplement to help PMR. Talking to someone today who has an autoimmune disorder but they have not figured out exactly what it is. Her daughter also has an autoimmune thyroid she said. They are both taking collagen in powder form and are feeling better.

I am probably not unique.
I have not posted for some time so I thought I would again to bring my different theories to the attention of new people. Some who have read my posts know I think a big influence on AF is the nerve communication between the brain and the heart. The pathway, the spine, must be un-compromised for correct

Steroids for the rest of my life?
Re. GCA. Has anyone here been told that they will have to remain on a low dose of steroids for the rest of their life because their GCA reoccurred? The rheumatologist said that because it had returned, there was a chance it could reoccur again and to rule out the chance of blindness, it would be best

I am 33 and have high myopia (-11D) and according to the doctors that I've been to, a "normal" retina for someone with these diopters...i know it is pointless to worry for something that

So I went to my urgent ophthalmologist appointment. I was taken a bunch of pics and stuff. He said my nerves looked healthy and that my cup was just a little bigger than others, but no need for concern right now. He said my floaters are normal too. He will check again in 6 months because I am still a

HARD DAY.
I’m having a hard day today . I’m trying to be grateful but I’m tired of being strong and saying I’m doing fine. I found out I have a 3rd degree complete tear in my hamstring . 😔 As a runner , that’s not good news. I’ve never had injuries in my over 20 years of running but since diagnosed with PD

Still struggling and can hardly see
Sorry for any typos but my blurry vision has been back and I found out at PT that it’s nystagmus, so my eyes are moving. It’s still episodic but lately it feels like I get it every day. I went like a month without it happening and my leg strength seemed to be returning so I’m really upset that I’m still

T3 and severe dry eye relief?
Has anyone experienced extremely severe dry eye and have you noticed that it’s linked to thyroid? Specifically, if I increase t3, will dry eye get better??

Vagus Nerve Stimulation in Rheumatoid Arthritis
I recently saw a news item on Sky News (from 2014) which showed a trial of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) that had proven very effective in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have looked on the web and contacted Dr Peter Tak who led the trial to see if there had been any developments - he said

FLOATERS
Hey all, I have had floaters since I was 12. I remember panicking over them because I felt no one had them. This until I went to the eye doctor and he saw them. I had showers of floaters, and with my anxiety it was horrrible. I still feel like I have a brain tumor and it has been 7 years. Anyway, I got

Abingdon Parkrun - streak of 3!!
Three weeks in a row - does that count as a hat trick? As you can see, I'm looking very smug in the photo, largely because I completed it in about 1 1/2 minutes less than last week, and managed to keep running all the way. Have improved the time each week. I did C25K two years ago, and did a single
