How do you know if you APS specialist is actually that?
I have had a pulmonary
Embolism
maybe 2 or 3 and was possibly diagnosed with APS as sero negative by Rheumatologist in my home town.

Success - Finally. Carry on Marine.
Heading into 4 months AF free after ablation without a hitch, other than surviving a huge Pulminary
embolism
brought on by the ablation procedure and massive amounts of blood thinners. After 90 days and a few CT scans I am officially off thinners as of yesterday.

DVT meds a cause ?
I am now wondering if my prelonged use of the meds or any changes to my body following the Pulminary
Embolism
, have caused a very significant increase in the incidence of my suffering RLS. I only seem to experience it from around 1 - 8 am.

Help to move on
My cardiologist said it was most likely caused by an
embolism
due to the AF. I am on medication to control my heart rhythm, blood pressure tablets and aspirin. I do not fit the criteria for blood thinners. My general health is so much better but I am struggling to move on.

INR Crashing
My self checker showed me at 2.8 Thursday night, which means it was actually 2.3. They increased my warfrin to 10mg a day Friday, (so I'm one increased dose in, and today my INR is 2.2 meaning its 1.7. I called the emergency line and they have suggested I supplement with aspirin tonight every 4 hours

Cryotherapy - Lymphedema
I am the Head of Medical Engineering at a Northern NHS Trust - Lymphedema for personal and professional reasons is a subject close to my heart. I am evaluating new devices, very surprised at the controlled application of cold vapour in conjunction with compression, I am now involved with the development

On period after PE last year
Last year in March, I gave birth and had a PE (pulmonary
embolism
). In October I finished my Warfarin cycle and this week I have had my first period since birth. It's really heavy and it's making me really anxious.

Steroids and facing a big operation
The complicating factor is that l had a heart attack on December 28th followed by a diognosis of pulmonary
embolism
so l am now taking warfarin and ticagrelor (an anti platelet drug) and l will have to stop both a few days before the operation to prevent me from having a serious bleed.
