I keep coming across articles of people being misdiagnosed with anxiety and panic and it actually being heart issues I’m so frightened I can’t even exercise anymore or really do anything I’m so convinced my brain isn’t getting enough blood flow. These damn chest

3 weeks post ablation tachycardia
I wonder if anybody has had experience of tachycardia post ablation. My resting pulse is 122. I’m feeling very fatigued and light headed. I’ve contacted the arrhythmia nurses and sent an ECG taken at the doctors and they conclude I need an urgent cardio version, cardiologist thinks I’m in “block”. Stupidly

Struggling
Hi I'm new to this group. I've been trying for a baby for 14 years & been going through ivf since 2017 but started the treatment properly last year 2021. I went for my first egg collection but I was really bad with the treatment where I couldn't go for fresh transfer as I had OHSS. So I had to wait

Worried again .AFib getting worse .Is it Heart failure or just Afib getting worse.
My AFib is definitely getting worse is it something more serious.Over the last 7 to 14 days I have felt very dizzy & lightheaded like when it all started.Lots of rib pain .I bowled last week & matches went on too long.Chest twinges throughout & pain in left shoulder. Not mechanical pain but I am sure

Met my new cardiologist today I think I like him
Met my new cardiologist today I think I like him. I had a VOM done the end of April. Long story short it was a failure that’s obvious to me now. I have had tachycardia ever since except for a month I was on medication for pericarditis. I can barely walk and when I do I feel faint and my vision gets

pains in chest, jaw and back
Hello, so I'm a healthy guy who goes to the gym and recently developed chest pains and what I think are palpertations. I spent the whole of this summer in A&E thinking it was a heart problem, got ECGs, X rays, scans and nothing will they found was a heart murmur and apparently it is was nothing to worry

So much pain. What did I do to deserve this. I'm treading water and sinking.
I have a good psychiatrist but ive been looking for a second opinion or a new one. Im not getting any better. But very few are taking new patients. I don't want some random person from the internet. I started calling the hospitals. Mount Sinai hospital seems to have a good treatment resistant depression

Ectopics and flecainide
Morning everyone. I have posted here recently concerning flecainide and received some very helpful information. Since being recommended this drug for my ectopic beats (which I have tried to 'live with') by an EP, my consultant has since suggested I try it as a pill in the pocket. The recommended dosage

As you lovely people were so kind reassuring and helpful during my recent meltdown, I thought I’d let you know what happened today. I had an echo and then an ecg after which I was seen by a very nice cardiologist for results. The high BNP is due to persistent AF, my heart remarkably in good shape with

AV Nodal Re-Entrant Tachycardia
After seeing my EP today and giving him an EKG print-out of my tachycardia episode in the ER on October 2nd, I got some bad news. It seems my SVT wasn't caused by too much cortisone in my system prescribed by my GP, but that I have AV Nodal Re-Entrant Tachycardia. He said of the 1,000 or more ablations

Atrial flutter
I developed tachycardia and was diagnosed with atrial flutter in December last year. This was 5 days after my Covid 19 booster jab, and I had never been aware of any heart problems before. I presented myself at A and E with a heart rate of 150 without any other symptoms. After spending all night and

Exercise induced AF - a few months on
Afternoon all, Thought I'd share my experiences of navigating my way through PAF so far. My history is in a previous post - 4 experiences of high HR / AF during big efforts over the last 12 months, but seemed to be getting more frequent. No issues reverting to NSR. Cardiologist driven testing - I've
