Enlarged right ventricle HELP
I'm 16 and I was taken to A&E on Monday with shortness of breath and chest pain, i had an ECG done and it was normal just slightly fast so i had an
echocardiogram
done (ultrasound on the heart) which revealed my right ventricle was bigger than it should be and the doctor said this could mean a clot,

I find it hard to believe that it is just health anxiety (again)
I ended up having an
echocardiogram
and a stress test in early November and after they told me that my results came out as normal as can be for somebody my age (I was 20 at the time). For the rest of the year, I was starting to feel like myself again.

There was also a query on my
echocardiogram
so I have to have this repeated in 4 weeks but my bowels seem to have settled down. Oh I am feeling a bit fatigued as well. I had to hobble after a sakes assistant today and it quite wore me out ☹️

Slow BPM no symptoms
He said that although my pulse was slow it was sinus rhythm, he also referred me for
echocardiogram
and 24hr ECG Holter test. It was a three week wait for this to happen and was completed a few days ago.

The Vanishing Diagnosis - UCTD?
Echocardiogram
and PFT both normal. PCP had thought it might be worth trying Duloxetine (Cymbalta) to treat what she thought might be fibromyalgia (although I did not have all the tender points required for the diagnosis), but that was ineffective, and only added to my insomnia!

**UPDATE**Doctor says not a TIA, but I think because I'm young they are brushing me off: Opinions?
I want to make sure that I get all tests done etc, like
echocardiogram
(atrial fibrillation runs in my family), in case something did cause a TIA and I could be warming up to a stroke. Thanks for reading. *****SEE UPDATE in this post******

Enquiries !
I also had my
Echocardiogram
. I was advised that the X-ray showed very little change from the one that was done in October 2016 and still showed an infection at the Base of my right lung and significant scaring on both lungs. The
Echocardiogram
showed definite LV Dysfunction and LVH.

Advised to have an ablation
In the meantime cardio has ordered another
echocardiogram
. Have to say I am terrified by the thought of ablation and that 5% risk seems very large in this context.

Chest and arm pain
Hi everyone. I've posted several times about my left side chest, arm, shoulder and jaw pain. It has been 5 months and it's not letting up! The only thing that doesn't hurt every day is my jaw, I've gone probably a week or so without that bothering me. But the chest, arm and shoulder is on and off all

Anxiety so bad I'm scared to sleep
I get PVCS and palpitations but all the tests (15 ECGS, halter monitor,
echocardiogram
, bloods) have come back normal and doctors assure me my heart is completely fine (I'm seeming a cardiologist though to be safe next week).

6 weeks post ablation, still tired as heck.
I'm supposed to see my ep next week for
echocardiogram
, for follow up. They dont think it's cardiac related every time I call them and tell them how I feel I get no answers. My pcp has ran blood tests, came out good.

Giving up the fags
I am now under the copd nurse at my surgery, still need to have
echocardiogram
. I'm assuming this shows what level of damage, if any, there is to my lungs. Still confused my abbreviations being used on the forum. I had a very heavy week last week.

Post ablation woes... can't believe this
I was diagnosed last year in the hospital after emergency room stay. I had EKG and electrocardiogram that was "read" the next day by a visiting EP who became my EP until a few weeks ago when I underwent cardioversion by the same EP. Before performing it he read my EKG, scratched his head and said that

Cardio worries
Last time I saw my chest consultant he informed me that as a result of the
echocardiogram
he had referred me for, he could see that the left side of my heart was not working properly. What??? He then told me he would refer me to a cardiologist but I have not heard anything further.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I had a
echocardiogram
several weeks ago and I have yet to get the results. They are saying that I need to come in and get my records so I am going tomorrow. I assume that the test results aren't too bad because I haven't heard anything.

well, I feel that my world is crashing down around me, to be honest as yet again, another stint in our local hospital was required due to the second C.O.P.D exacerbation within four months and while being an inpatient, I had another CT scan with contrast and also an up-to-date

Some Things Are Almost Unbelievable
I had a stress
echocardiogram
and EKG before the meeting. He had read my file and asked what was my status since the entries in the file. I summarized my situation and showed him some EKG charts that I had taken when I was in what I thought was A-fib.
