Anyone been to Bordeaux for an Ablation?
Has anyone been there an if so could they tell me:_ 1) How long before the Ablation did you have the Transoesophageal
Echocardiogram
done and how sore was your throat afterwards? 2) How did you get from the airport there to your accommodation? 3) Did you have to fast before the procedure?

Ascending Aortic Aneurysm Repair
I will have a cardiac catheterization and a
echocardiogram
on the 16th, and then the following day I will have my surgery. Depending on the results of the testing on the 16th, I will either have an aneurysm repair or aneurysm repair plus bypass, etc.

Cardiac Catheterization recommended
My ejection fraction (
echocardiogram
) was satisfactory (soon to be repeated.) I have had left axis-bifascicular block and right bundle branch block diagnosed from my ECG. ECG's during stress testing remained stable. Now I'm having a cardiac catheterization recommended.

help please.
I have had an
Echocardiogram
. today got a letter saying that overall the pumping function of your heart is reasonable. it is possible in one area that the pumping function is slightly reduced and this may be secondary to your bypass surgery I have written to your gp asking him to start an ACE inhibitor

Pace and Ablate
I am going for an
echocardiogram
tomorrow as evidently I need to be in heart failure with an ejection fraction of less than 30% to qualify for bi-ventricular. I somehow don’t think I am there yet! EP is going above and beyond to fight my corner but things have ground to a stalemate.

They ordered a Cardiac Stress test and a
Echocardiogram
, they want to make sure that the smoking has not caused any heart damage. They also told me that I can not resume the gym until I am done with the Prednisone and I have to go slow they don't want me to bring on a potential heart attack .

Well hello there!
In the space of a couple of weeks, I've gone from someone who was overweight, unhealthy and feeling a little short of breath... ...to someone who is obese, unhealthy, unfit, has heart failure, high cholesterol, might be diabetic, is to have an
echocardiogram
, to have 1-hour tests at a Cardiac Investigations

Don't know what to do!
My ankles are hideously swollen and am due to have
echocardiogram
to rule out heart trouble. I do not tolerate any medication well and am terrified of more side effects, but I have had four spinal fractures over the last 2 years and they say I will only get more.

Atrial Flutter and Shingles
Three weeks ago my tachycardia didn't settle down so I ended up in hospital for a chemical cardioversion (unsuccessful) and a successful electric cardioversion following a trans-oesophageal
echocardiogram
. I was then diagnosed with Atrial Flutter which the doctors said is in addition to my MAT.

Doubting my diagnosis of COPD.
I did have an
echocardiogram
that shows a moderately enlarged right ventricle but with normal ejection fraction and only borderline pulmonary hypertension with a PAP of 21.

Been a while! Now Pericarditis?
I had a stress
echocardiogram
last week which I'm waiting on the results for. However I am wondering now if what I'm feeling is indeed something else. I'm now wondering if this pain is actually pericarditis. Having just reviewed the symptoms it seems a close match.

Feel like I’m passing out
Going back to Doc next week, recent
echocardiogram
was fine. Has anyone else had this? It’s very scary.

Pericardial effusion
During investigation a chest x-ray showed an enlarged heart so an
echocardiogram
was arranged that showed a large amount of fluid around my heart. A drain was arranged which I had 3 weeks ago and I had approx 2 litres of fluid drained.

Myopericarditis - rest time/recovery
Hi all, I was diagnosed two weeks ago with myopericarditis - went to A&E with (very mild) chest pains and had an abnormal ECG (T wave inversion), high troponins and neutropenia so was admitted, given an angiogram/
echocardiogram
but both were clear so discharged after a few days with antibiotics, NSAIDs

My thoracic back MRI recently showed my heart to be enlarged.
I had a pre-surgical
echocardiogram
and stress test done prior to my cervical Fusion and Total Knee Replacement and everything looked fine. I'll see my rheumy and my cardiologist in the next two weeks. Has anyone else here experienced rapid heart changes shortly after your diagnosis?

Severe chest pain almost daily
My
echocardiogram
and EKGs all came back good too. This isn't anxiety or panic chest pain. I have had that before this is different.
