Diabetic Macular Ischemia
hi all just wondering if anyone has had ischemia in their good eye it looks like that is what I have had for a while but now it’s much worse and just wondered if anyone has been told they had it in both eyes and therefore the eye injections are not working. I can’t have steroids as I am a steroid responder

Running after Retinal tear surgery
Hi everyone, I've had two retinal tears to my right eye in the space of 10 weeks and have had subsequent laser surgery for both tears. With the first tear, I waited at least 5 weeks, before I went back to running and had experienced my second tear at work and not whilst running. Has anyone had a retinal

My son is 8 and has never been dry, day or night. I began toilet training him after his third birthday and I thought at first that I must have done it wrong as he could never keep dry. He would have the occasional poo accident too, but his real problem was wees. I took him to GPs and HVs and was either

supplements help?
hi there, does anyone with hypothyroidism take supplements that contain kelp? I’ve had conflicting advice on its use/benefits for hypothyroid sufferers. I’m considering starting Thyroid Support with L-tyrosine and Kelp from Cytoplan, but don’t want it to have an adverse effect. Thanks

prednisone taper
I finally got an appointment today with the rheumatologist-May 28th. In the meantime, I would like to get off the prednisone, but not sure how to do it. My primary Dr told me to take 10 mg, but I was having some pain, mostly shoulder and upper arms, so I increased it to 12.5 for the past week. I’m gaining

Reducing or eliminating IBS symptoms
I thought I should share this, if your IBS symptoms is frequent stooling (not diarrhoea) you can try peppermint oil capsules say 30 mins to 1 hour before a meal (once a day) combined with deliberate reduction in stress and relaxation from worry; I believe it will work, at least 90% reduction. The best

AUS revision surgery?
I'm seeking advice on having a second AUS surgery. My background: I had a prostatectomy in 2016 and radiation a year later because the cancerous tumor had penetrated the sack. I have since had undetected PSA but have suffered with severe stress incontinence. I had AUS surgery in 2018 but it failed because
