Had to fall back on Rx Sinemet for 2days&Mental focus poor
My shipment of natural sourced levodopa was a couple days later coming in than I anticipated and I had to fall back into using synthetic carbidopa/levodopa. I drove to a restaurant and place an order and then realized I didn’t have my wallet . I walked out to the car didn’t have keys in my pocket .

Trials
Since 2012 I continuously tried various approaches and gauged or judged the benefit: sinemet, coconut oil, amantadine, keto diet, Neupro patches, mucuna, plus other park drug's name I cannot recall. This list could be longer. In all I never experienced placebo effect nor notable improvement. Thiamin

Slow Developing Parkinson's Symptoms
But I'm of the mind to minimize
dyskinesia
by taking just enough Sinemet to feel very minor dyskinesias (foot clenching, teeth grinding, body movement). My doctor has been very encouraging saying, "I really thing something else will get you before Parkinson's does."

My Sinemet CR plus IR protocol
I take one 50/200 CR plus one half of 25/100 IR every 4 hours. Also, amantadine, 100 mg twice per day. Also, 10 mg methylphenidate once per day. The CR + IR at 2,6,10 am and 2,6,10 pm. I am still in a rehab facility wherein pd meds and meals -served times are almost always in conflict. 7.45 am and 11.45

Shortness of breath in PD “respiratory dyskinesia”
Shortness of breath can have many causes, but someone with Parkinson’s disease has an unusual possibility, called “respiratory
dyskinesia
” (which just means “abnormal movement of the muscles of breathing”).

Relationship Between Levodopa and Dyskinesias and How Thiamine Can Help
Dr Costantini has told me that people who are taking Sinemet with Thiamine WILL NOT develop
Dyskinesia
even in long-term use. I very much appreciate Dr Marco Colangeli for his professional opinion and other forum members for their inputs.

Mucuna Pruriens
I was on Sinemet for about 4 years and developed
dyskinesia
and had to consider other options. After trying a few other medications that also came with almost immediate side effects I started searching for natural options. I have been using this herb for the past 8 years with good results.

Stalevo vs mucuna pruriens
Yesterday I went to my doctor with a question: Can I replace stalevo with mucuna pruriens, on the grounds that the first is a chemical drug whereas the second is a natural plant extract. She said NO, because 1) You cannot control the amount of l-dopa contained in each mucuna capsule, so there is a chance

The single biggest predictor of the rate of Parkinson's progression is if you are lonely. Finding by Dr. Laurie Mischley 4/25/18
Pretty interesting article "Indeed, I have lost count of the number of people with PD who have said something to me along the lines of "my friends and family have abandoned me/don't visit/lost touch". The negative feedback loops between loneliness and disease progression can be one of the most vicious

I have been taking Gabapentin for the pain in my feet about a month. It has worked, i no longer nave any issues with my feet. They still tingle some but it is so light i hardly notice. Before i started taking Gabapentin my feet would at times keep me from from going to sleep and when driving more

Right combination of supplements
I have experienced that the combination of different herbs and supplements can backfire if not taken rightly. But the right combination is a tricky matter and is different for different persons. I was wondering whether there is some standard combination of supplements which is optimal and is more or
