Mums CBD Struggles - Physio
My mum has been struggling with the symptoms of CBD and now has a diagnosis. Her right hand/arm is now of little use (along with other issues.. speech etc) - has anyone had any luck or seen progress with a physio - or are you aware of any good physio practitioners in the North west (UK) who know of this

Hand Foot Syndrome and/or Neuropathy
Hi All, I have asked about this one before on this list, but with a new year, perhaps it is time to see if anyone has any new ideas. I am on Faslodex, Verzenio, Zometa, and now Retacrit (Procrit), along with pain meds, etc., but it is certainly one of the first three that is causing the problem in my

Merry Christmas Everyone
I don’t often check in here as I have had a particularly bad brush with C-19 which has resulted in far more serious problems. I have discovered quite a lot about fibromyalgia and CFS through my research and will reiterate my recommendations about taking curcumin (turmeric); magnesium, and milk thistle

Recent Insomnia the last 3 months. Please help.
Hi Everyone, I found this site looking for answers as I've been dealing w/ insomnia for almost 3 months now. When if first started happening, I could fall asleep, but I'd wake around 3-4 AM, then I couldn't go back to sleep. Afterwards, I couldn't fall asleep, taking up to 5 + hours to fall asleep.

How bad do visual difficulties get?
My dad has recently been diagnosed with CBD and we are devastated! I honestly thought he had PSP because his symptoms started with visual problems and this has continued to be one of his main problems. But he has an 'alien limb' - his right arm and hand -, which I know fits with a diagnosis of CBD.

Research identifies genetic variant which determines speed of PSP progression
New research has identified a genetic variant which determines how quickly the neurodegenerative condition Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) progresses, once symptoms begin. The genetic variant relates to a gene called LRRK2. This gene has previously been linked to the risk of developing Parkinson

I hate CBD
Hi i haven't wrote on here for a long time. My mum was diagnosed with CBD 4 years. For 3 years I was her carer until she had a fall n had to move into a care home to have 24 hour care. Her condition was manageable until June last year. It then went downhill rapidly. She hasn't eaten for over a year and
