Over a year now without cracking.
Every now and then at random the dragon sends out its
dopamine
demons to attack on a different front. They are related to the craving demons. These demons remind you of the wonderful effects of a
dopamine
release in your brain when you eat something sweet for example.

Seroquel question
Maybe I've got it all wrong, but if Seroquel is a
dopamine
antagonist, is it not counter intuitive to take it when I am not on any
dopamine
replacement therapy? Surely I need all the
dopamine
that's available to me. What do you think? Have I got that all wrong?

Holiday from dopamine agonist
I have read that some of you take a holiday from the
dopamine
agonist in order to prevent augmentation. Can you explain how you do that, how often and what meds do you use during the time you are not using the
dopamine
agonist? I never want to go through withdrawal again.

This is for those of us who have sleep problems.
Dopamine
is the neurotransmitter involved in the problems with RLS, but not with sleep problems. It is a feel good brain chemical and is exciting and arousing, not one to put you to sleep. So, where have I gotten this information? From another great book I am recommending.

NDT dosing. Nearly there, but is 3 grains too much?
I suffer from dystonia, which is a
dopamine
related problem so my depressions come from their as even had MRI scans confirming this. But the really good news is that all the other symptoms have just gone :) Anyhow after 9 months on 3 grains, I got my results back.

Some days I'm not sure if it's just anxiery, just depression or if it's all an illusion.
Does anyone else work in retail or somewhere when they get so overcrowded with negative emotions and self esteem about yourself; to the point you actually get a sinus headache; then I get motivated again and (sort of) snap out and you know pump yourself up because the thought of grtting out can be a

Different activities induce a variety of
dopamine
. For example, drugs like amphetamine release the most
dopamine
, then on a falling scale alcohol, sex, sweetness, food, exercise and physical exercise.

Risk of long-term levodopa/carbidopa side effects
Changes in the amount or timing of the dose will prevent these side effects but most experts now recommend alternatives to Sinemet, such as the
dopamine
agonists, and use Sinemet only when the alternative fails to provide sufficient relief.

Coming off Pramipexole
My question is, when I get the
dopamine
out of my system, will my rls revert to how it was before I started taking the medication i.e. Not nearly as severe? Also how long does it take to get this horrible drug out of your system? I wish I had never started taking this drug.

BBC2's Horizon 9pm last night was about dopamine overload in the brain and the use of anti-psychotic drugs to reduce it.
After watching this I'm wondering If this means that RLS sufferers should avoid anti-psychotics? I was put on Motivil (spelling maybe wrong) for suspected IBS, at the time when my RLS was getting worse around 10 years ago whilst on a low dose of pramipexole. I only took the Motivil for a couple of weeks

Dopamine
Agonists, marijuana, “natural remedies”, and special diets each have their passionate followers. Exercise is the new medicine, especially high cadence cycling, but other exercises show promise as well and each has its following.
