Hallucinations: "It's the Dopamine, Stupid!"
Because it could manipulate a person’s pattern sensitivity by changing their
dopamine
levels, this experiment showed that higher
dopamine
levels can cause more pattern detection.

Dr. Contantini suggestions for my Thiamine Intake.
To ensure this, you must suspend the thiamine for 10 days, both the good effects may persist months, and in 10 days the bad effects subside. 2) the vitamin b6 which is contained in all the multivitamin may antagonize
dopamine
systems. So it should also suspend all vitamin-based supplements.

Question on Absorption, Dose Increase, and Zoloft interaction. Doctor taking too much time!
It is from here that my thyroid treatment went downhill due to: - increased metabolism from Adderall decreasing absorption of Synthroid, therefore decreasing thyroid hormones -
dopamine
interference suppressing TSH, thyroid adapting and hence change in my "set point" to the bottom part of the range,

What my emotions did to me last night.
I can only figure that my emotions caused a flood of
dopamine
or some other chemical in my head or used up it to cause the attack. Thanks for listening

Update on Hinz Protocol
It was disappointing, but I took away from it two things, one: the possible efficacy of Mucuna as a
dopamine
replacement and two: the wish for people to be aware of the diagnosis of Dementia with Lewy Bodies when facing Parkinsonism symptoms, as well as the med intolerance that can go with it.

Dopamine responsive dystonia
I was diagnosed with drd in 1988 and have done well since then on co beneldopa, but I'm starting to have a few symptoms now which make me wonder if it's coming back. Has anyone else had similar long term treatment, how are you getting on? I've never met anyone with the same diagnosis, so would be very

Mucuna Pruriens is a life saver
So amazing how a person can be basically paralyzed with pain and muscle stiffness due to lack of
dopamine
and then when taking L DOPA your symptoms are like night and day... AMAZING stuff!!

Did anyone start treatment taking a dopamine agonist?
I read a bit about these, and some of the side affects seem a bit scary, but it seems that a
dopamine
agonist is often first prescribed to younger patients to save the ledopova for later. I'm curious to hear from those who have taken a
dopamine
agonist as a first course of treatment.

After 10 years with LDopa treatment, I have more negative effects, like painful dystonias, in phase "off"; in my case, when
dopamine
level in the body is very low. Actually, I want to reduce Sinemet, and I'm very happy to be part of this comunity.

Thyroid Ultrasound for Hashimotos?
TSH dramatically dropped by around 1.5 points without subsequent rise in FT4 10 months ago since beginning stimulant medication for ADHD (possible
dopamine
interference in thyroid axis, though for most people the lowered TSH is supposed to be transient).

Need help!
Under pressure, my doctor put me on a
Dopamine
Agonist (Neupro patch) 2mg/24h. I had a great night for the first time in 3 years but was awfully nauseous the next day and had to go back to bed and slept until 2:30p and also slept at night even though I didn't put on the patch.

Growth Factor appears to be what we should all be learning about. Why?
In our case these are the
dopamine
producing cells in our brain and the Growth Factor is called GDNF (Glial Derived Neurotrophic Factor) and that repairs or replaces those cells and gives us more natural

Acetylcholine Deficiency plays a big role in why people with ADHD have multiple troubling symptoms/tendencies.
Interestingly enough it is thought that out of the 7 major
Dopamine
receptors there is a similar variation in the D4
Dopamine
receptor that causes a faster reuptake of
Dopamine
in the brain of people with ADHD.
