Other reasons for arm tremor?
If Sinemet or other
dopamine
agonists have no effect on tremor does that suggest the root problem is not a
dopamine
deficiency?

Anyone else with RLS & mind racing? Poor quality sleep.....
My RLS is under control with
dopamine
agents, insofar as the sensation in my legs is concerned...but my mind is constantly active and I don't sleep deeply at all. It's not consistent, sometimes it's worse than other times. I know the drugs can cause insomnia.

Alcohol is a main RLS trigger for me
I guess it's because an alcohol does mess with your
dopamine
balance.

How is PD connected to Restless Leg Syndrome?
Amantadine and ropinirole are both
dopamine
agonists. Ropinirole is treatment for RLS that my wife took for several years before it quit working for her.

Too much of a good thing
In addition to its deficiency being integral to PD,
dopamine
had long been regarded as a critical neurotransmitter involved in reward systems reduction in
dopamine
associated with depression and increased
dopamine
with addiction.

Is there a limit on Dopaboost intake?
But in the meantime, we have been trying to figure out the best
dopamine
sources to help him on the daily. Mucuna is much more effective than his Sinemet, which barely works anymore. He is was recently on 1 100/25 Sinemet with 18 grams of mucuna powder.

Standardized examinations of motor functions also showed stabilization or improvement, and a PET scan suggested that the progenitor cells were making

Breathing abnormalities in Parkinsons
The underlying mechanisms of this pattern of breathing abnormality in PD are not fully understood but are likely to include a combination of factors: increased chest wall rigidity; a reduction in lung volume secondary to stooped posture; and lung changes secondary to ergot-derived

Parkinson’s: Autoimmune attack may start years before diagnosis
The existence of these prediagnostic symptoms suggests that damage to
dopamine
-producing nerve cells begins long before the person experiences trouble with movement.

Might PD pharmaceuticals restore my athletic performance?
But, I might be wiling to try
dopamine
therapy or some such if it would help in this area. My first doc initially recommended Mirapex, but I declined.

Dopamine through the night
Hi all. I was wondering if any of you take stuff during the night. I never thought it was something I’d consider as I presumed I’d save it for daytime, but I reflected recently that maybe a) it might help with sleep and b) it meant less of an uphill journey for the first drugs in the morning. Your thoughts

Exercise
In quick intense intervals the brain mitocondra function better, and
dopamine
seems realised quicker. I don't know i get bored running long distance. I feel more energised doing quick workouts. Any thoughts?

Could my FND actually be dopamine deficiency?
Am I going mad, or is there some logic in my thought process that my problems are
dopamine
related? I am terrified of being wrongly diagnosed. I am not sure what to regarding this. Feeling very stressed.
