I had an Echo this evening
Hi all, just an update. I am getting used to taking 30mg monomil and side effects are now minimal. I haven't needed to use the gtn spray for over a week now! I had the echo this evening and the guy performing it said that all looked OK. He said it was to look at the Chambers and valves. It wouldn't pick

Struggling
My partner had a fall 8 weeks ago whilst on holiday in Bulgaria. He had a fractured occipital bone and 3 small bleeds on the brain. He spent 12 days in hospital and a further week in the hotel before he was fit to fly. Within three days of being home he was walking quite well, only occasionally using

GTN spray side effects
Have had the GTN spray for a while and have used it twice and too scared to use it again. As soon as I spray under my tongue, it feels as though there I have sprayed acid. The pain is terrible and made me cry out in pain. This pain lasts for about a minute. It’s unbearable. I filled out an online

A&E today and now having a 'Suspended admission' after severe chest pain episode
Wondering if anyone has had anything similar? I had a terrible day yesterday. Woke up with pressure in the left side of my chest, feeling like my body was covered in lead weights, exhausted despite having slept for a solid 10 hours, easily getting shortness of breath and having lightheaded spells that

Inguinal hernia
Hi, I have been diagnosed with IBS-C but also have an inguinal hernia. The pain that I get is right by the hernia site. Has anybody else had similar? The pain is continual at the moment and both Fybogel and Docusate don't seem to have helped despite making my stools somewhat softer ‐ they are still

CHEST Pain
For those who have replied and given me advice about 111 and hospital treatment, to my recent post about chest pain thank you, here is the next chapter. Because of the advice and my needing to know what the pain was, I contacted our GP surgery. Around 3,45 pm a doctor rang to ask what the problem was

Angina
I had 1 stent fitted in 2021 following a mild heart attack. In June last year I had chest pain, went to A&E and after tests was told angina and had I been using my Gtn spray? I hadn't as had not felt the need other than this 1 episode. Since then I had pain once again, overnight, at rest, used the gtn

chest pain after heart attack
Hi I had a heart attack on 7th December and am now in recovery with many tablets to take. Is it normal to still be getting chest pain and arm pain? I have used my gtn spray and it has relieved the pain at the time. My dad has sadly passed away in the last month and I don’t think stress is helping.

shortness of breath subsequent to zoledronic acid infusion
Because of GI problems, bisphosphonate tablets are not an option for me, so I have gone down the infusion path. I had my first infusion on December 28th, and experienced about three days of bad muscle pain, which then resolved itself. It was a couple of weeks later that I noticed that my ankles were

Sodium Picosulfate
my foster child has been on either Laxido or Movecol since he was 5years old, he is now 12. He had a brief time of no soiling during Covid and isolation, and another one a year ago where he didn’t soil. He has now been put on sodium Picosulfate, since November last year. He has a 5ml dose each evening

b12 purchase
Hi I was treated by GP for low B12 for a year but once my levels were midway on “normal range” the injections were discontinued and I struggle to find ways to boost my intake orally. I have just purchased Hydroxocobalamin online but am unsure if the dosage is similar to that I was previously prescribed

Switch diet to Vegetarian - save your kidneys
Please kidney patients switch your diet to plant based. I did and it saved me from dialysis. Look up Dadvice on faecbok, Jen Hernandez a dietician who worked in Dialysis patients who now promotes a plant based diet (vegetarian). You can type in Jen Hernandez as a search. Another source has a program

Vasospastic angina and migraine.
Been a while since I posted. I have vasospastic angina. I've been having what I call 'episodes ' on and off over the last month. GTN spray has been used on a more regular basis. I've noticed that over the last few days a migraine has been creeping in. Definitely not how my migraines usually present
