No Symptoms of diabetes, but taking Metformin
I have recently been told I am diabetic, but the only symptom I had was thrush twice. I have been taking Metformin for a week now. How do I tell if they are helping please? Is it just the blood test every 3 months that will tell me if they are working? Thank you.

If rising TSH causes total cholesterol, triglycerides and high density lipoprotein cholesterol all to rise, why is it OK for people to see their TSH allowed to reach 10.0 (or higher) before any treatment? I cured myself of PMR without Steriods.
THIS IS NOT A TREATMENT THAT PMR/GCAUk RECOMMENDS. Yellowbluebell, moderator I was diagnosed with PMR last Jan. 2019. I did not take any steroids but I did take Chinese herbal supplements, changed my diet to more vegetarian and used yoga and Tai Chi as my ways of stretching my body. I took the supplements
