Prednisolone ,pre diabetes and weight watchers
Have been on prednisolone for 17 years ,have COPD ,severe asthma bone lesion and recent bloods show pre diabetes. GP has referred me to weight watchers . Does anyone have experience of this? Am unsure if will lose weight due to meds and inability to excercise. Thanks!

Why has my blood sugar level gone High on very low carb diet?
3 moths back my hba1c was 6.3 now i am sure it must by close to 8, haven't checked it yet, getting tests done tomorrow. I have observed that even after no significant change in diet i am getting high bg. Yesterday I had a lassi at 4.30 pm and at 6.30pm my bg was 198. For lunch i just had curd and ladyfingers

Hi guys I’m writing this as the last few months I’ve been in excruciating pain . I have sero negative inflammatory arthritis. I’m on weekly benpali injection and arcoxia for day time pain along with tramadol and amitriptaylin on a night . The pain is getting worse my meds don’t seem to be working apart

Have been in a famous huge London Hospital for a while with a severe Exacerbation with my COPD .. and during Examinations, etc the Consultant has spotted sugar levels = " Not quite right - indicating possible - " DIABETES STARTING UP AS A " SIDE EFFECT" OF STEROIDS " ......... = CHARMING ! ...

Low carb/keto and running...
Just completed my last run of c25k! Last week I found it my HBA1C levels were 42 which is just in prediabetes range. I did a bit of research and started ketogenic diet, but my last 2 runs felt like really hard work. Anyone have any advice in low carb and running? Thanks 🙏
